Hydra Two Packs

I am not sure if anyone has already posted this, but the Hydra two pack is confirmed for a Feb2008 release.

The promo shots of the regular hydra show double jointed, while the packaged shows ball joint, so I would assume they both have ball joints for knees and elbows.

I usually tend to think of a 2-pack saving me money over the single pack - not tacking on an extra $8. Sure, you're getting the variant, but thats not a big deal to me. If these would hit brick and mortar retail at, oh say, around $15 I'd snag up a few.

Would it not be best to buy to normal Soliders and hunt a varent for the same prce and have 3 figures???

You (we) hope! Maybe the 2 pack will cost an extra $8 (or $5 at retail) with their reason being "the ease of acquiring a highly sought after variant"

Reading their page, I don't get the impression this is actually a 2-Pack that Habro is releasing. It seems like that store is just selling a regular and a variant figure together on their own.

SDCC did mentioned a possible two packs and this could be it.

 

I reckon Hasbro are not stupid to pass a money making scheme like this. If they do, they we could all yell to them, "You're Fired!"

it doesn't say 2 pack, it says set of 2, as in a regular and variant single pack hydra figure. why would they release a two pack of something thats coming out soon anyway?

who knows if these will even be on single packaged blisters or not. they could be like those army builder 4-packs for star wars all those years ago that hasbro did, but only make them 2 packs of the army builders for the marvel legends. put them in a clear plastic bags and package them in a plain white box labeled hydra solsier army builders set of 2 and make them exclusive to online retailers and jack the price up and there you go, hasbro just made a profit.

putting them in a clear plastic would surely get those general managers fired from the upper management.

 

I guess they would still put them in 2 pack similar to cable/marvel girl type of box since they already have them ready and waiting.

hasbro did it with the star wars line numerous times. they can do it with the marvel legends line as well.
