TRU "House of El" now only $5

TRU has clearanced their Superman Returns "House of El" 2-pack down to $4.98. The first Marlon Brando or Jor-El toy made, killed by the fact TRU wanted $20 for it when it came out. Get it now if you passed before.

But that's the single-carded unpainted one there. The 2-pack is normal painted and includes Supes in the robe too.

 

I remember single-carded Jor-El was $10 on its own or "free" if you bought like $20 of SR toys.

 

Making these movie toys in 5" scale was supcide when they did it for BB. Then SR and SM3 did it.

Yeah, I hope Hasbro and Mattel learn their lessons about this 5-inch crappy movie figures before the second Batman movie merchandise comes out.

nope, mattel is making another 5" line for the 2nd batman movie but they will also have a 6" line as well sculpted by the horsemen!

Ummmmm.....I have a little confession to make. I BOUGHT that two pack at $20 when it first came out!

 

I'm only telling people this because I wised up and returned it. So no harm, no foul. I MIGHT get it at $5, but probably not.

I saw them at the Woodbridge NJ TRU Friday for $1.90 each. They had about 5 left in the front of the store.
