Stuart Beattie Tapped To Scribe GIJoe Movie

Recommended Posts

Yeah, I read about this the other day. Have some faith in Beattie.

Collateral was a good movie and so was the Pirates trilogy especially the first one. But does Beattie know Joe. It still sounds like they are going the PC route and downplaying the American side of G.I.Joe. My big hope is that Somers and Beattie and Hasbro and Paramount are reading these forums and listening. Without G.I. Joe being American they will have to rewrite the whole history of each character. Granted some of that might have to be done to make it more contemporary, but everything? The script is already there. They just need to grab a comic and put it on the screen. Leave politics out of it and just make it about G.I. Joe doing the right thing no matter what.

God bless America.
