DC Superheroes loose joints

A few of my DC superheroes have loose joints, but I can live with most of them.

I finally got my Mr.Freeze today and his feet are REALLY REALLY loose. He can't even stand up.

 

Is there anyway of tightening his feet joint?

How do u use Super Glue to fix it? Wont it get stuck in place?

You could try cutting a small C-shaped bit of plastic from a thin toy card bubble and wedging it in there. I have one of those Chinese KO Optimus Primes and the arm holding the pod up in insanely loose, but that seemed to do well enough.

You put a couple drops in the joint...but you have to keep moving the joint until the glue dries. This way the joint gets tighter, but is still articulated. But if you don't working it long enough you risk the joint being glued together...so you have to make sure you work the joint until it's dry the joint will be stuck together.

Yeah honestly thats my only real complaint about DCSH. So far it seems all my DCSH have loose feet joints.

I've heard about people doing this and have good results....some have taken it a bit further and also used a drop of water in combination with the glue. Still its a bit too risky for me to try, oh the shame of being a coward....sigh.

The plastic wedge method is generally a lot safer, though wedging the thin slice of plastic in can be a trick and it MAY work itself out if you move the joint excessively.
