compare 25th figs & major barrage

Just wondering if the 25th figs dwarf the 6"8 Major Barrage. Anyone got any pics of Barrage and all the new joes to compare?

With some of the 25th figures I think you can get away with having taller figures i.e. Roadblock for one and Gung-Ho who tends to be prtrayed as taller then most of the other Joes

 

The Snake Eyes is close in height to the new sculpts and a bit shorter then Barrage

I think it would be nice if they were all scaled to the sizes that they should be. It's probably an unrealistic request but it would be kind of nice. I like having the different size Joes and Cobras.

For me...

 

the Barrage figure was the epitome of G.I.Joe action figures!

 

The only thing that would have made him ANY better, would have been the ankle articulation and nothing else would have been needed. He's got plenty of detail, he can sit properly, he can bend his arms at the elbow fully, he has the O-ring (which is STILL the best way to go for Joe) he has the swivel wrists...I mean, he's just an awesome figure!

 

Look how goofy that Gung Ho looks compared to Barrage?

 

They have NO girth or solid feel to them now. It's like they took a 3 3/4" figure, put some heat to it, and started stretching it, till it hit around 4" or so, and now it's taller, but also quite skinny and lanky looking? @grumpy@

 

They're gangling lookin' wimps now, with no muscle or solid feel or appearance to'em. Dainty little hands that can't hold sh@# and waists that look like they'd all wear a 28x36 pair of pants? #WTF#

 

Whacked out proportions on the 25th line, when compared to a gem like Barrage...at least imo that is!

I think they made em skinnier (is that a word?) so they could add all that gear that they wear. That seems to fill them out a bit. but I do see where you're coming from.

I'm not really fond of that GH look.. I mean he just looks weird without the vest, and that mid section joint ruins it for me...

 

I also don't like his scrawny arms.. I might have to do some swapping with a Barrage.

I can handle figs like Gung Ho , Roadblock and Destro being taller than Barrage since they're meant to be big guys.Sure RB is suppose to be 6"8 like barrage but he can be a lil taller in my vurse it doesn't really matter. Even though Gung Ho is a bit taller than Major Barrage , Barrage still looks dominating in the arms department so it kinda evens out.As for Destro, well He would have been the only guy which I loved the way he was potrayed in Sigma 6 so in my verse I'm happy for him to tower over other figs.On the other hand I can't handle Duke or Flint as tall freaks.The Snake Eyes Figure lokks the closest to scale with the old joes though.So at least future original 13 figs should be ok.Unless Hasbro fits them with Giant bobble heads.

If you stand them with a slight bend in the knees, in more of an 'action pose', they fit in a lot better with the other sculpts. It's only when they're standing straight up that I really begin to notice a size difference.
