seriously, if all you are going to do is complain and be pissed off at hasbro then you need to stop cloggin up the threads. it's because of you they are unpleasant for others to read since they have to see you constantly saying the same thing over and over again. we get it,you hate hasbro, get over it already. no one really cares anymore what you think or want to complain about since we have heard the same things over and over again.

now onto the upcoming marvel lines. i have to say that i think they are getting better. i like just about all of the upcoming lines. the daredevil looks cool and so does the tigra and punisher. all in all they look better.

Excuse me, but the last time I checked this is a public message board where people can express their opinions, both GOOD and BAD, if this poster bothers you this much I suggest you use the ignore function, that's what it is for! You don't see anyone complaining about the people who constantly give praise and who love everything about HML, as I've already said, it's a public forum and you're more than welcome to use that ignore function! @hmmm@

man, what's the use of the ignore function if you still have to read the crap in other people's quote/replies

No Stormfan is right, there is a fine line and the crap like this will not be tolerated anymore. It is making the boards past unpleasant and to many people are complaining. Wheither you agree with someone or not is fine, you can disagree, you just have to do it in a cival manner and not a flame bate post every single post you make.......

It doesn't really matter if an anti-Hasbro post is just flame bait or actually has a valid critique/point...there are always multiple people waiting to jump down your throat for posting it. I have gotten into more fights here the past 6 months (posting a lot less than I normally do) than I did in 2 years before that posting every day. It's okay to have an opinion around here, as long as it's "Yay, Hasbro!" @hmmm@ Otherwise, prepare for people to tell you to "Shut up," "leave" and "go collect Barbies." lol

Honestly, both companies had their faults, but Hasbro has done more good for me in terms of what I look for in toys.

Toybiz complaints:

- I wasn't sure if the toy was going to break right out of the package. You just never knew! I had one instance where I took 'em back THREE times before I got one that didn't break! The rest of the time I just kept it because you CAN'T find the figures again so you have to take what you can get.

- Did I mention I couldn't FIND any?

- RANDOM JOINTS. Why not make what makes sense for the character, or perhaps just use a standard amount of joints for all? And why did it take so long to get rid of articulated hands? Did no one try to get the figures to hold accessories with those hands? You can't!

Hasbro complaints:

- ONE store has these. Target. Toybiz had them all over the place and I STILL couldn't find them! Target JUST stocked the newest stuff (and I bet I'll never see Thor).

I tried to find more stuff that Hasbro is bothering me with, but I just don't care that much about paint jobs. The only other thing is hand sculpts so far (lack of fists for folks who need them) but it doesn't really faze me too much. They've already taken care of the breakage problem, which I think was a very important part to fix. Next, the articulation is closer to a "standard buck" option and we're seeing a lot of the same thing so I can be sure that a figure is going to move pretty much like the rest without have to research it. Granted, that's still got a way to go since some of it is a bit restrictive, but it's better than Toybiz was doing.

Anyhow, the other stuff that people talk about never really bothered me. The figures I'm interested in are pretty much the same: some are good, some aren't. Exactly like Toybiz. I've never liked every single figure, and I still don't today. I do notice the change in paint jobs, but I just don't care. I wasn't buying Toybiz figures because of paint jobs, I was buying them because I like Superhero figures, and they just so happened to still be making them. Now Hasbro does. I just don't care.

I agree. I mean i didn't start collecting them cause they were super possible or well sculpt i bought them cause i wanted to collect Marvel super hero and build up my marvel universe collection. I still do. i think (no offence to anyone, just my opinion) people who want the Artculated and better paint apps are just being spoilt.

I'd say your right, people have jumped down your throat (I was one of them once), and I can say from my side of it, it was because there was relentless "Anti-everything Hasbro" people that continued to post threads of blind hatred and not having a good solid reason to hate/dislike Hasbro and their legends (like yourself), and I think everyone confuses you for one of the parasites at times.

Blame the endless ranters. Because of them, it makes it hard to tell who has an opinion and who has a grudge.

Yes, people have contacted the Moderators and that's why Draven is saying that the bashing just to bash will cease. We're tired of seeing it and the reports that follow.....so it ends. :D

There are people who like what Hasbro's doing, and there are people who don't. That's just how it is. Regardless of what side you're on, you are not going to persuade the opposite party otherwise. So, if someone posts their opinion, why argue with it and try to point out why they're wrong? You're not going to convince them to like/dislike Hasbro. Just agree to disagree and get on with it already.

That being said, bashing is pointless from either side. Critiques and opinions are where it's at...and 100% welcome. I know we play with toys and all, but let's act like adults here.

Also what's the point of hijacking a thread in defense of your side? Like this thread...if people who don't like Hasbro's ML want an outlet to talk about why, let them. Same with any thread saying "Who likes Hasbro ML?" Let it be, friends. Let it be.

That's what I've been trying to say the whole time!

Draven

It doesn't really matter if an anti-Hasbro post is just flame bait or actually has a valid critique/point...there are always multiple people waiting to jump down your throat for posting it. I have gotten into more fights here the past 6 months (posting a lot less than I normally do) than I did in 2 years before that posting every day. It's okay to have an opinion around here, as long as it's "Yay, Hasbro!" @hmmm@ Otherwise, prepare for people to tell you to "Shut up," "leave" and "go collect Barbies." lol

I agree with you, I mean look at some of the responses here @hmmm@

And what would that be?? See I just speak the truth. Only one person was called out in a negative way and there is just cause. The bashing just to bash will stop, nothing wrong with that, it will make the boards a much more pleasant place for us ALL.

Draven

As was I, this is a public forum, and there will be both sides of any discussion, both good and bad. If that many of you have a problem with the poster you all dislike have you tried contacting moderators or anything like that, to get rid of the negativity that you all don't like to hear??

Yes, people have contacted the Moderators and that's why Draven is saying that the bashing just to bash will cease. We're tired of seeing it and the reports that follow.....so it ends. :D

Yeah ThundaStorm, dunno if you noticed, but Draven is a Moderator.

So if this is such a damper, then doesn't he have all the right to ban said poster since he is a moderator and whatnot??

Oh its a damper for most people, trust me. And Jay has personally warned anyone that needed to be. That is all I will say on this subject for now. It will stop and that is that. :) Thank you Jase for stepping in while I was out and about working! lol
