irritating 25th stand footpegs

Yeah I mentioned this to John and he replied that he would have to go into the tooling and change the size of the logo and they are aware that the stands are getting not the best reviews. I would think that this would be addressed probably for next years releases.

Do those round clear stands for Star Wars figure work well with these?

The clear round ones made for the newer SW figures don't work with the 25th Joes - the pegs are too small. Anyone know if the clear round made for ARAH work with the 25th or, hell, even the old school rectangle ones?

Nah, the old school Hasbro pegs are much too big.

yeah, the embossing really doesnt help. i found that the cobra stands work better than the joe ones though. the placement of the peg and the holes in their feet arent in the best spots either. i dont know how many times theyve fallen down on me...

I've found that if you turn the stand around and use it backwards, it works better. Not good, but better. With their foor hole so far towards the front of their foot, the way the stands are, particularly the joes, they have too much weight behind the embossed logo where the peg drops down farther, and the figures tend to fall backwards. But if you turn the stands around, the only part over where the peg drops down is the toe, and the majority of the figure's body weight stays over the more leve, embossed part of the stand.

Try the stands from Entertainment Earth. They are listed as "REAL Stands" have two pegs and are sized to fit new SW figures. I just got in 50 yesterday and they work great with the new Joes.

And now they are out of stock. Argh! But these do work well? Because the protech ones I got for the new SW figures, as I mentioned above, didn't work with my Joes at all. Of course all they would need is slightly bigger pegs.

Yep, they work excellently. The stance is wide and offset to allow for lots of different poses, the edges are rounded downward and they are crystal clear. I've got all 17 of mine standing on them right now, and have given the the "hold upside down and shake" test and they passed.
