Well, is the criteria for crappy figures still RAH only? Or should we expand to JvC, VvV, etc. Or should we only expand when crappy figures from RAH have been exhausted?

Here is the eligibility criteria set in 2005:

 

Eligibility:

From last years minutes:

 

- Figures and vehicles need to be at least 10 years old before they can be considered to vote on. Just because a mold is 20 years old does not mean we can consider a version of a character that has come out in the last year.

 

- Only single vehicles and figures can be nominated. You can't nominate the entire ninja force vehicle line as one nomination, but you can nominate and in turn vote on each one separately.

 

- Voting only occurs at the con, by those present. If you cannot attend the con, get your nomination into someone who is going, so they can nominate for you.

(cmder's note: it will need to be seconded by another member, but that shouldn't be very hard to get, I'll second it for ya!)

 

I am pretty sure we decided in Minnesota not to pick on the newer stuff because we did not want to piss off the Hasbro Design Team, so JvC, VvV, etc are off the table. Sigma Six included, even though I think that stuff totally blows! I am hazy on the translation of the first point above. I think vehicle reissues are on the table such as my nomination of the JvC Destro Dominator.....which will get my nomination again this year.

Well, I think now that they've moved on to a different design standard for the figures entirely, that the JvC / VvV should be up for nominations . . . granted they're not 10 years old . . . but some of them suck just as much. I don't think that any of the design team will really hear about said nominations . . . but even if they do . . . isn't it sort of an honor to be nominated ? @smilepunch@

I'm surprised Skidmark got as many votes as he did? What's so bad about him? The mold is sweet. The paint's a bit off, but still leaps and bounds over most of the figs from the 90's. I would have thought Deep Six V1 would have swept it. That figure is a pile of crap. It's an unaction figure. He floats? So what. So does a turd.

Funny thing when you speak of turd and the name "Skidmark". I do believe this is the genesis of the crappiness. @lol@ I am totally with you on Deep Six V.1. I have been nominating him since 2005 and I get someone to second, but never enough votes. All love for those early waves I guess.
