HML 4, Fantastic Four pics are...

So No Tornato

biglebowski, I've gotta hand it to you. I actually respect your opinions on the matter. I don't buy for articulation, or paint apps or whatever, I buy for characters I like. I like X-Men, and will keep buying X-Men. I don't think that the figures are better or worse, just different. It's a different style that I welcome.

Back to my other point. I see where you're coming from when you don't want to collect this line. First off, if you're not a fan of the figures, that's a good enough reason right there. Second, if it were me, I'd rather stop at the end of the ToyBiz ML line than keep going with Hasbro's if I wanted to stop. It's almost like good closure of the line. I think if someone wants to keep going with Hasbro and further enhance their collection, more power to you.

I just find the over all "Hasbro should have never gotten the license...it's all going to end" attitude (not coming from you, more from people that can't spell "Tornado" @hmmm@ ) is really just a tired argument. Insight is appreciated. Bashing, however is just unpleasant to read spammed through out the forum.

I value your opinion biglebowski9999, and have no gripe with you. You're cool in my book. #US1#

Back to the F4 line. I really wish I collected Fantastic 4 stuff (and had the funds to support that AND my X-Men collection), because IMO, these figures would make a really nice addition.

Thanks, storm. You know you're cool w/ me, too.

I honestly don't think HMLs are that bad. Different, as you put it, is a better description IMO. And I guess I am set in my ways and really liked the TB-style, so I decided to stop. I was passionate about the line because it really got me interested in many other characters in the Marvel Universe besides the X-men (which is all I collected in the beginning). I really don't have a huge problem w/ Hasbro (still collect Icons and I have always purchased Transformers and Star Wars stuff)...I think people that want them to lose the line are not being realistic...they are not going anywhere. And you're right, saying that over and over again adds nothing to discussions. I would just like them to value the line as much as TB did, but I don't think that is realistic because hasbro is a much larger company and has many properties to focus on.

The situation on this board seems to be getting worse. Some Hasbro-haters refuse to give any credit to Hasbro no matter what they do. I have gripes, but no one can deny they are making an effort. I have taken some cheap-shots here and there (mostly just jokingly) but there is no denying they are improving. And there is a growing number of Hasbro-supporters (or TB bashers, whatver you want to call them) that feel the need to run their mouth every single time somebody says the slightest negative thing about Hasbro product. It's getting old. This place is supposed to be a forum where people can discuss things, sometimes agreeing and sometimes not. It used to be like that around here, but not so much lately. Hopefully, the situation improves because many threads seem to just end up dying because people are going at it back-and-forth and the original disucssion is lost. Can't we all just get along, lol?

I'm far from a Fantastic Four fan and don't own any FF figures at all, but I like enough of these figures that I think I'll get the set. Namor and Surfer are really cool....and def. my favs. :D
