What will be the next Themed wave?

With the Hulk wave proving to be true, what do you think will be the next themed wave?

I know a lot of people want a comsic/ annihilation (myself including) but i really think a Iron-man wave would be nice preferably with these characters in them.

Thor wave won't happen. Iron Man is the most likely followed by more X-men and Captain America. There are still many more IM Armors to be made. Most notably being the neo classic Red and Yellow from #231. Us 80's babies are all very familiar and fond of that on. It's my personal all time favorite followed by silver centurion and the Modular.(which have both been made)

Yea, I would think Iron amn a definate with the film, and ultimate universe would allow them to do new versions of big name characters (BAF hulk? Maybe a giant man over two waves?)

 

Thor wave would be awesome - who knows, with his comic being started up again, maybe it will get interest in him again.

I'm down there these characters - not really any alternate costume or modern costume characters though. I really think Hasbro's character selection is...below par. I’m growing so tired of film figures, modern alternate costumes, and character that aren’t even a year or two old. It’s Marvel Legends, not Marvel…who? Personally I don't think we'd be get a new Mandarin anytime soon simply because we really didn't get him all that long ago from Toybiz. He’s not exactly one that breaks precedence and is made every year like that of Hulk, Spider-Man, and Wolverine.

 

If I had to add my two cents - It’s gotten to the point when I can’t make an entire themed wave anymore that interests me. Everything for me has been done - and there are no really major players left to truly make anymore. I still have a large list of wants, but I can’t combine them all into any thematic wave - they’re all vastly different. I can only get about three or four before I run out of character that can be paired that aren‘t extremely unknown either.

I agree that an Iron Man Wave should be on the works:

 

CIVIL WAR IRON MAN must make an appearance and not that crappy Modern Iron Man. (the paint is all wrong and he looks more like Ultron than Tony Stark's armor)

 

HEROES REBORN IM- check, go with it.

 

Mandarin in battle armor- now that's incredible.

 

Tony Stark - in a business suit. (if people buy Lost action figs why not him)

 

Iron Monger(Obadiah Stane)- Tony's mentor?

 

Controller - he is huge and can use the Hulk mold

 

Pepper Potts - Gywneth Baby.

 

Crimson Dynamo - Russians! We love Mother Russia.

an iron man wave is definitely needed as well as a thor wave and a couple others as well. they could do a cosmic wave, alpha flight wave, new warriors wave, house of m wave, doppleganger wave, a savage land wave, and one wave i would definitely want hasbro to do is a heralds of galactus wave.

From a marketing aspect Iron Man seems more likely because of the 2008 movie in production. That said, your Thor wave looks really good.

Love the Thor wave idea With Thor's modern(sweet costume) Classic Loki and Enchantress. I think We'll probably get Iron Man (for the movie), And X-men.

An Iron Man wave is a virtual lock, since they seem to be tying themed wave to movie releases (hence Spidey and FF this year).

 

I'd like to see:

 

Iron Man:"Movie armor" - which is virtually identical to his current suit, but hey maybe they could pony up for more vac-metaling. Heck they could call it "Civil War" armor if they'd like. But the previous ML8 version of this armor's face plate looks like a darn duck.

Heroes Reborn Iron Man - I just really like that version.

Crimson Dynamo - either the fourth (the one with the pointed helmet and big banded shoulder pads) or fifth (the silver/Red version with the V crest on the helmet).

Iron Monger - the "Big" figure for the line

Whiplash/Blacklash - the "Green Topknot" version of the costume, definitely not the later leather fetish look (Kurt, what were you thinking?)

Mandarin - I actually preffered the "Acts of Vengance" era armor. (Okay I actually liked the costume we got with the Face-Offs best, darn Toy Biz and their rubber cloaks!)

Neo-Classic Iron Man - The armor worn from the end of the Armor Wars until the War Machine "death"

Living Laser - since he's never appeared the same way twice story to story, whether human or energy, just pick one and run with it.

BAF: Titanium Man - the second "classic" armor was big, but not huge. About the right size for the BAF's Hasbro has been doing to date.

 

Past that, what's next on Marvel's live action movie slate? Cause that's what the next theme will be. Be it Namor, Thor, Wolverine, or Captain America. (which are apparently all in various stages of film development)

Why are they all openly gay characters? Electro is openly bi, I remember reading somewhere. A wave like that wouldn't sell in the red states... at all. It would move no faster then an all black and hispanic wave. No offense to anyone but I'm sure somewhere some point in time these things have been suggested to company executives and then everyone sits around listing all the detractors to the idea. Hell I bet an all female wave wouldn't even move much units.

I'm as Red a Red-stater as you'll ever find, and I'd buy each and every one of these characters as LEGENDS...

 

...and besides, there's lots of Toy-collectors who live in "red states"...so I don't think that would have any impact whatsoever.

 

And the publicity!!!! The media would fawn all over Marvel for being "SO BRAVE!!!!"...I can see it now...

I think people seem to like my IM and Thor idea (mostly ), and i think a captain america wave of a high possiblity.

I think they should put in it;

 

Armored Cap---- It's one of his few costume that isn't a straight copy of his classic

The Captain ---- even if it wasn't cap it make a nice USAgent

Winter Soldier---- Were getting buckyt why not complete his cosutme gallery

Nomad---- The guy who WS killed

Crossbone---- i think his a must at this stage

Syntia---- Same as echantress/excutioner, can't have one without the other

Business suit red skull--- wih a Kieser (Ultimate) variant would be nice.

Sharon Carter (Agent of shield)---- i have nothing to say bout that

 

Baf Armin Zola--- couldn't think of a Big Cap villian

 

 

As for the x-men, another highly possible wave,

 

Polaris---- which ever costume is fine at this stage just bloody make her
