im willin to give it a shot. they are probably trying to tap into a younger audience now to secure a new generation. im sure the syle of futers TF series will progress and adapt with that generation.

 

 

They could of done better the kids of today aren't that stupid

How is this new cartoon stupid, and how can you say it assumes kids are stupid, when all we've seen is a few sketches? When a few eps have been shown, then maybe your opinion may have some backing, but right now you're just making baseless assumptions.

 

I'm quite skeptical of this show myself, as I have been about every show since g1: some have received my approval (bw, rid), some were ok (bm), and the rest (UT), I haven't seen enough of to make an informed opinion. I think it's quite odd that tf's has been so succesful and has really only had 3, maybe 4, successful cartoons..

Kids nowadays are brighter with animation like this they think they are as nieve as they once were about 30-40 years ago.

You said that kids today aren't that stupid, which tells me you think the cartoon is stupid. I think you're just talking about the animation, correct? If so, I don't see how animation has any bearing on the intelligence of the show (unless it's utterly incoherent, which this is not): it's simply more stylized, less realistic. It may not be everyone's cup o' tea, but if paired w/ a good story and characterization, it can be just as intelligent as any other cartoon.

The previous 2003 version. Not necessary the Fast Foward series but the original 2003 series! Now that show was AWESOME! If we ever got a transformers like that, watch out!

When I first saw it I thought of Star Wars: Clone Wars, and I actually liked the animation for that. While I will always love the original artwork, I won't bash this style before I actually see if it's tolerable. There's more important things to worry about as far as quality are concerned in my opinion, things like the direction and writing for the show.
