Best and Worst Original Characters after 1994

MY favorites are the stall family of course. Now, it would be cool to see more of that family yes?

 

I liked Hacker for the reason he was shooting switch gears which always made me think he was nothing but a traitor to the joes.

 

All os the "clones" double blast sure fire etc, I have used for cannon fodder and they were all killed in the line of duty and their families on Kamino were notified of their demise.

Barrel Roll and Kamakura tie for the top of the Goods. Both were really fleshed out in the comic and just were awesome additions to the line. The rest of the Good included all the stalls, Barrage, Gullotine,

 

Close but no cigars: Dart was a cool figure, and diferent enough for spirit for me, but the head was warped and ddp gave him shell shock so we will never see him again. Hi-tech was a cool character, but the figure was pure poop. Hacker is only intersting because of the trader aspect a lot of us fans invented for him when we noticed he was shooting switch gears on the mcc rerelease box pic.

 

Worst: Link, just never could get past his speciality

The Bad: Chamelon, Double blast, rip it, the rest of the repaint characters, all the "leader" characters, Hard drive (way too many computer guys at this point) V-Max

 

 

The problem with Link wasn't so much the specialty, but the look for me. Is he going to the gym or to fight Cobra? And those creepy elbow...growths.

I have never really understood why some fans dislike particular characters for "Replacing an older character" I have heard things in the past like Footloose "replacing" Grunt as the GI Joe infantryman. The reason this never made sense to me is that GI Joe would not just have one guy doing a particular job, they would have several. Big Brawler and Outback can just work side by side.

I dislike it when they are just repaints or very similarly characterized. IF someone is going to have roadblock's job it's not likely they will look just alike or have the same tastes. As far as Big Brawler that is just a lame name and head mold. Nothing against the guy it's based off of or realy even that there is another survivor expert.

I gotta say it again. Venomous Maximous was an awesome figure. His character in the VvV movie was dumb. If only he had made a comic book appearance as some sort of new Mindbender expiriment, then he could have lived to true potential.

High Tech is on my Top 3 of all time, and I'm pretty sure he's relatively new, although the name might have been recycled.

 

I like black dragon and the enemy from Joe Extreme aswell.

It doesn't help that he's super ninja badass too (read his filecard). Heavy Duty sucked because he was a unique character in RAH who was transformed into a Roadblock clone down to the cooking.
