Bay Thanks For Positive Trailer Feedback

"Transformers" movie Director Michael Bay has written a message on his official message board thanking everybody for their positive remarks on the final trailer. However, Mr. Bay comments that the best shots from the movie are not in the trailer. "I can without a doubt say we have just teased you on this trailer," says Mr. Bay. "We have so many awesome shots that will never be in our ads." Also, contrary to what most people say about trailers, "I bet this will be one of the rare trailers that does not show you the true money shots of the movie." Click through for his suggestion on a July 3, 2007 release date.

 

In what may be a jist, Mr. Bay would also "like fans opinion on opening on July 3rd instead of the 4th." However, "[t]he studio kind of sort of is thinking about which might mean 'no'." However, he suggests that if we "spread the word on the Net - they might listen. The 3rd everyone is off from work, I say 'what the play the movie - 'give'em giant robot early'!!!"

as much as I'd like for thoe movie to open on a tuesday, that is cheap night up here in Canada, and would drastically hurt the movie financially.

I want it on the 3rd at least at midnight. Then Ill go again on the 4th with my son since he is jonesing to see it as well. He watches the trailer and just names the guys as they pop up.

better not pay your internet, or your hydro bill then that month, because it'll cost you more to run the computer for the amount of hours it's gonna take to download and watch the movie off the net. Not to mention the horrible quality it will be, and with a movie depending 90% on CGI, you might as well not even bother.

Really could care less about the quality of this film, though recent releases have been extremely good quality of late (S3 comes to mind), so not worrying. It's not on my must see list anyway, more of a curiosity to see how bad it really is than anything else.

considering you have Darth Vader as an avatar, infering you are a Sar Wars fan, if your basis for good is Star Wars than this film couldn't possibly be worse or even bad enough for you to think it is trash.

Pardon me, but I never said I'm basing my dislike for this movie on the star wars movies. Star wars has nothing to do with it. Everything I've seen so far of the robots shows me this is not a TF movie, just a big exploding robot movie with the tf name slapped onto it. The robots are horrible looking, the actors are none that I would ever pay to see, and Bay made it, all bad points. I've seen the trailers, those right there tell me it's garbage. Everything I've seen overall so far tells me the movie is crap. That's what I'm basing my viewpoint on, not star wars.

Of coarse you do! We have to make plans for that day. Seeing the movie more than once will be worth it.

I'm off the 4th so I kinda hope it still comes out that day. Either way I'd love to see it on opening day.(Just something about those opening day crowds that I like)

I hope this movie breaks all records and does really well, just to prove wrong the naysayers and the haters... I think it will be awesome. If you think this will be trash, I'd hate to see your idea of "good".

Have to say I am loving the look of this movie compared to how I originally felt. Everything about it has grown on me.

My vision of the movie has improved alot and I am definetly looking forward to seeing it opening nite and liking it that I go see it about 4 or 5 times more after that.
