My PDA only guided me to the movie preview figs that our store STILL hasn't put out.

 

 

Keep in mind, this store is a "gold contributor" I believe is how my store manager put it, to the company. Which basically means it puts up HUGE sales.

 

Though if they're about to reset the action figure aisle they could be kept on staged pallets which wouldn't show up in location. I don't know what the plans are for the near future, I'm not doing plan-o anymore.

Of course, this is only relevant if your store has even GOTTEN any of them. My piddly ass Walmart never even got a case of previews.

 

My luck, we'll get a ton of the PREVIEW figures for June 2.

Pulled the figures last night, I grabbed Barricade, other guy got Bonecrusher, left the rest on the shelf. Barricade is a sweet little deluxe and Bonecrusher looked cool from what I saw.

Ya never know. I suspect our store doesn't get nearly as much collector traffic on the weekdays as most stores do. Look how long army builder sit on the Star Wars pegs during the week, then Saturday, POOF!

My store is currently 87th best in sales for the entire chain. So if it's out on the floor and it ain't bolted down...someone will buy it. Weekdays, weekends, it doesn't matter. It's always a frickin madhouse.

 

 

Yet for some reason, we're constantly getting our hours cut. @hmmm@ I take care of the dairy/frozen backroom and it's F@*&ED!!! I feel eyes looking at me with blame in them when things look crappy, like today. I can tell them all day that I can only do what I can, after all, I AM human. Doesn't do any good though, if things aren't going right in a section they don't bother to look for the actual reason, just someone to pin blame on.

 

It wouldn't be so bad, but those jackasses don't know how to put in an order to save their lives. They order WAY too much and leave me to try and backstock half of what comes in every truck by myself, and pull batches, sweep and mop the floor everyday, etc..etc... Working in a 20 degree dairy cooler, and 15 degrees below zero freezer, ALONE, let's just say it can make for some absolutely dismal days.

Well I went in and found only one movie figure

I work at Target too as a Cart Att so I grabbed Jazz and Wreckage They also had Brawl , Barricade , Scorponok (he looks weird) and Bumblebee. I like them!!

I'm pissed man haha....me and my friend went to a grand total of 5 walmarts, 3 TRUs, 3 Targets, and 2 KBs today in search of these figures since they were supposed to be out. Everyone we talked to kept telling us that they can't put them out til the 2nd of June....it was so frustrating. I live in PA.....anyone else have problems in PA?

I got them all except for Wreckage today. Of course I had to go to 2 OTHER Targets to get them. I even told the ETL over there that they could be put out and that the movie preview figs should have been put out at the beginning of the month and are still sitting in back.

 

Of course at the end of the day I looked....still nothing. By the time they get the preview figs out it will already be time to clearance them out. Which of course isn't so bad if you ask me.

Wow way for me to get into this conversation so late. Right now I do a lot of stuff in the toy dept. So I get a lot of info dealing with toys. Yesterday when I went in I got some paper work on all the Transformers that we will carry on the 2nd,+ it said stuff about the certain figures that can be put out before the street date. Another cool thing is it showed what our displays are going to look like comparied to TRU's and Walmarts. The coolest thing though is that I got a free mini poster with all of this stuff. I'll try to get a pic of the poster up soon.

 

On top of that I'm going to have to check the back room to see if we have any of the deluxes in since we get a truck in the morning. We didn't have any today.
