Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman Model - Complete!

Here are photos of my third (and favorite) completed 1/6 Resin Model Kit of Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman.

I received this as a raw resin casting (bottom photo) and had to tool and paint it myself. After many hours of meticulous work sanding, shaping, sculpting and painting I reached my goal of making it 100% show-accurate. My final details included shaping gold wire to make the lasso, using steel wool between each coat of primer and gold paint for an ultra-smooth finish on the oval base and assembling it all with clear epoxy.

 

At 1/6 scale, it stands an Amazonian 13" tall including the base. This is definitely one my favorite pieces in the entire collection!

 

 

As you will see in this comparison photo, the sculptor must have used a flipped reference photo, so I took a few liberties in ensuring accuracy for display such as moving the lasso back to the proper side, etc. I flipped my correct studio shot for comparison purposes in relation to the statue.
