Best / Worst ML Display or Accessory

Haven't seen this topic yet I'm aware of. So what do you think are the best display pieces or accessories to be included with a Legend? (BAF parts aside).

 

I think the best is Blade's Motorcycle and Gambit's Sentinel display.

 

Worst is Ultron's riding sled thing (IMO).

Worst: Doc Ock's or Cable's base

 

Best: Magneto's sentinel head base or Punisher's balcony

I think the best all-round accessory are the clear plastic flightstands that came with some of the later figures.

 

I also liked the destroyed Sentinel bases from some of the earlier ML X-men figures.

The chi-flames with Iron Fist are perfect.

Ghost Rider's second bike is very well done.

Doop is okay with Deapool, as is the load of gear Deadpool comes with.

I like the Sky-cycle that Hawkeye has--ditto for the one that came with the FA Thing--though I tweaked mine with some extra kibbly bits.

Mr Fantastic flying bathtub pod is a good idea........but each member of the FF should have had corresponding pieces--could have been the first build-a-item in the line.

I dig both Wonderman's and Scarlet Witch's air-scooter, though I don't use the former's. Just a neat design I think.

 

I think the worst is the booster rocket that came with the Silver Centurion Iron Man, though I currently display my figure with it. Big, really clunky looking.........its not a very good design.

Captain America's base is pretty weak, as its waaaaaaay too small in scale. the flag is nice though.

I don't like Blade's bike--tossed mine in the spares box. Used a Maisto bike that just looked cool. Its a better fit and more to scale.

Gambit's staff was a rubbery noodle, just awful.........I replaced with with some plastic pipe, cut to size and painted silver. At least its straight now.......

The stands are nice but kinda flimsy really arrow ... they can't hold the more heavy charecters up some times like they should... I kinda wish someone would rip the design and make some stronger versions some how

BestAccesory: Deadpool´s arsenal

 

Worst Base: Ult. Captain America

Worst Accesory: Gambit´s staff

Wanted to add one more:

House of M Iron Man's Booster unit and weapon with ammo feed.

Aside from the aforementioned flightstands, this accessory is almost........almost a complete toy in itself. Probably the best single accessory in the whole line--really makes the figure special.

Some of the best accessories to me are the Sentinel base for Iceman and the little tornado stand for Storm. You can make some pretty sweet poses with these stands.

i have to say the worst is Gambit sentinel hand. It's way to big for him. they should have used that for collusus.

I rate these in terms of suitability more than sculpt/design

Iron Fist - chi energy for his fists

Deadpool - SMG, sais, katanna and sheath

Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze) - bike

 

Worst:

 

Wonderman - scootter. Does he need this? He can fly!!!

I really liked the bases from the first 8 waves. Some of my favorites were Doom's castle Turret, Namor's water spout, and both the ML3 and ML6 Wolvie bases with the Hellfire club and Ogun.

 

Worst were most of the "Legendary" piece of crap rides from ML11.

Best: Hawkeye and Taskmaster's Atomic Steeds

 

Worst: Scarlet Witch's ride thing

Best Accessory: ML 6 Juggernaut's base. It includes a smashed up wall with a destroyed gate that reads "Xavier's institute" on it. The detail on it still amazes me to this very day. Oh man, that's cool!

 

Worst Accessory: Avalanche's rock base. When the stupid POS shakes it looks like the rock is masturbating. All those damn buttons confuse me. Go to Hell Avalanche, and your stupid made up costume. Personally, I wouldn't mind if they got rid of bases and accessories altogether. It makes the whole thing too complicated.
