Which ML fig has the best/worst cape design?

I just picked up Moon Knight for $4.99 at KB and I have to say, I think he has one of the best capes in ML. It's very flexible, light and doesn't get in the way of his movement. Compare that to some other figs where the cape is just plain rigid, heavy and obstructs articulation. Although its not a cape, the best example of this has to be FO Mandarin.

Now I wish they would remake Thor and Doctor Strange with the kind of cape Moon Knight has. :)

What's everyone's best cape and worst cape choices?

Dr Strange and The Mandarin were definatly hindered the most by their capes, but the ones that were really hurt were Dr Doom and The Taskmaster. The hoods just don't fit at all and totally ruin the overall look of the figures. I'd love to get another Moonknight just to put his cape on Taskmaster (try it, it looks really good!), but alas, ML15 never even hit Canada :(

PS I'd totally support a remake of Dr Strange with a clothe cape and a Dr Doom with a sculpted hood (like the second Hobgoblin). Dr Strange's cape would have to have a wire inside the bottom for poseability though. That would be freakin sexy.

Ok, why hasn't Storm been mentioned? She has (if not the best) one of the best cape designs hands down! It was comic accurate for the most part and it didn't conflict with her flexability at all.

I'd rather we got cloth capes, TBH.

I agree. I hope the FA Storm in HML 4 has a cloth one.

- Dr. Strange (no need to say more)

- Beta Ray Bill (goes too far back, and has a hole)

- Magneto were pretty bad (too wide)

Pretty much all the capes got in the way one way or another!

Oh man, I forgot about Storm. She actually has a rubber cape like I was talking about earlier. I think she's got a better one than Moon Knight.

I think most of the figures have pretty damn good capes... they look great and move well for being plastic. Strange's does get in the way because of the way it goes over his shoulders and its bulk... but it looks great

I would never support cloth capes... they look terrible

I think that Dr. Strange's cape is actually one of the best. It has lots of nice, genuine looking folds, it actually resembles classic images of Strange, and it has a balance point in the back that helps to hold up the figure.

IMO, the worst is the too-heavy cape on the Walmart Wave Thor. Combined with the bizarre, very loose hip joint, it causes the figure to lean to the left, and fall over unless a really silly pose is utilized.
