I still haven't found any of the second half of MK series 3. I found Kano and Reptile, but I need Cage and Noob. Also, I wanna know if Sub-zero's arms are clear plastic or painted on.

Yeah....I have yet to see any Johnny Cages or Noobs, and I've been searching pretty hardcore since they first came out. Johnny and Noob are on eBay though....but man I would much rather pay $5.99 at TRU than pay over twice that on eBay.

yeah ive only been fortunate to find that crappy kano figure.. i have yet to see any reptiles or noobs... i really want those friggin ninjas.. and theyve been technically released for a good few months... jazwares made those horrid street fighter toys and their mk deception versions were horrid too.. but series 2 and on have been a vast improvement... i would figure that these figs would be all over just because i still see a crap ton of the SF figs... are they selling well?? youd think if they were theyd be on the ball to make a series 4.... and ironic that noone can find the second half of wave 3.. . alright im done with my mindless chatter.

  • 2 weeks later...

Thanks to mrhayzie, I got my Noob finally :D I like him a whole lot more than I thought I was going to. The pictures of him made him look real stiff and bulky, but he's got a good range of motion, even with the skirt. One thing I noticed is that the quality of plastic has improved, even from the Reptile/ Kano release of the same wave (which seemed to come out before the Johnny/Noob release). I would compare the plastic to the Hasbro Marvel Legends. He's even got the different style of articulation for his ankles. They're hinged like Kano's and Reptile's instead of that weird swivel. A couple of things I would change about him are: give him extra hands to hold the swords, and black wash him. The details are there, they just need to be brought out by a little black wash, which I just got finished doing. I also painted his eyes entirely blue to match his game counterpart.

Now come on, Jazwares; give us some more characters! We need cyborgs and a bunch of other kombatants!

Johnny Cage is the easiest to find in my area. After combing the stores for weeks, I'm still missing Reptile. Darn that slippery.... er... reptile....

I too share the same dilemma! Oh when will I find this myth figure Reptile? @smilepunch@

I still haven't found them. I found out my TRU gets very small shipments of Mk figures, roughly a case or two. They practically sell out before they hit the racks. Maybe some other TRUs do the same thing. I dunno, just trying to find a reason behind all this.

Man I just found series four online! It's just resculpts of Baraka, Raiden, Subz and Scorpion (deception outfits).

What? Give us the link.

I believe it when I see it! @loll@

Got the Cage and Noob thanks to Starman. Pretty cool figs. :) But to me that Noob just screams Smoke to me more than Noob.........

Draven

yeah, when we first saw this figure in con photos here, i thought it was supposed to be Smoke... there was a big debate over which it was, actually. i still have him stand in as Smoke because he's my figure and i get to call him whatever i want, lol.
