Yep. Same here, the 90s show is THE Spider-Man show for me. But I think he's got a good approach because if I have to nitpick about the 90s show, is that I wish it stuck more closely to the original ASM books in terms of stories, look and feel. But that's really a nitpick, otherwise I was solidly addicted and enjoyed most of the episodes from that show.

I never cared for the 90s show, I thought it was too kiddie-oriented. Justice League and JLU got away with lots of punching (Superman vs Capt Marvel, Superman vs Doomdsday etc.). It always did bother me when I saw regular cops with laser guns though. You would think it be OK for cops to have them. Im trying to remember if Vigilante had a regular guns?
