Has anyone swapped out the short stacks for long stacks

I'm not sure what the point would be. I mean if you have long and short stacks to switch in the first place, wouldn't that mean you have a Japanese and a US Prime? I only have the long stacks version, is there a reason why you'd want to take em off one and switch to the other? Unless you've made your own custom stacks. Looking at mine, I'd say it would involve taking apart the upper arms, but it has a really deep seated, very tiny screws in the bottom inside corners, so I don't know how you'd go about getting that out of there.

I have 2 US versions. I also bought the trailer and it came with long stacks to swap out. Im thinking its just taking out 3 screws and breaking the seal but wanted to be sure.

Funny you should ask... I just bought a set of diecast metal long stacks for my 20th Prime off Ebay. As soon as I get em' and swap em' out, I'll let you know how it went.

Cool thanks man.

I see, that's cool that it comes with some long stacks like that. Wish you both good luck with this, i dont' know if I would have the nerve myself.

Thats why I wanted to ask first.

I swapped mine out on one of my Masterpiece primes a while ago. I got a set of diecast stacks and switched them out. They even came with a small sheet of instructions. Its a very simple process. You can kinda see them in the picture below. I had no trouble with mine. It even looks way better with the stacks. Good luck!

Thanks for the Tip-off on long stacks! My problem is a little different though:

I bought a US Prime, and then I bought the first Japan release of his non-transforming trailer. In the instructions, it points to an adapter ring that fits into the trailer ring on Prime so that the trailer will fit, but the trailer did not include it. I am assuming the ring came with the Japanese Prime/Convoy release. Any ideas? any help?
