Was at my local target tonight and they had in the latest wave of the small sw titanium vehicles. Was going to snag the royal guard intercepter and the invisible hand, but they went from $4.99 to $5.89. $4.99 I was ok with, still a little high in my mind for glorified hotweels, but for almost $6 they can keep them.

My local wal-mart was always $4.99 too, same as toy r us too. All 3 stores used to charge $4.99 here for them. Haven't been to wal-mart in ages or tru either, so can't say if they raised the prices as well. If they all have I'll be dropping this last line that I collect.

I picked up one at Walmart a few weeks ago and it was just under $6 before tax. Would a $1 increase really make you drop a line that you enjoy?

Actually it really would. $4.99, ($5.29 with tax) was really pushing it with these things. There's no way they were actually worth that to begin with, but I did enjoy collecting them though, and have 40 of them.

With the new price of $5.89 (6.24 with tax) it's just way too much for these things. There's no way I can justify spending that for one vehicle that has less die-cast than the average hotwheel. The last one I bought was the Greivous Starfighter about two weeks ago, and it was $4.99, so this increase has totally put me off them now. With the loss of these, I now will be collecting 0 toy lines. :(

I have to agree that $5 was a;ways about as much as I wanted to spend. I bought them all in the beginning but after a while I stuck to OT vehicles only because there were so many released that it was more in total than I wanted to spend on this particular line. I already buy all the 3" Transformer's and will buy many of the 3" Marvel versions when they come out, so something has to go. The Endor At-At I bought the other day may be one of the last ones I buy.

The new price is closer to what Walmart charges.

Not my wally. my wally charges a tad under $5.

Lucky you! The $6 price doesn't bother me because I'm only interested in the classic Battlestar Galactica ships.

Wow! after being tempted by their latest releases, it will be easier to pass on them. Got a very modest collection of 12 vehicles, 2 5-packs + Republic Gunship + Imperial Destroyer. Was only tempted enough to pay full price of $4.99 for the latter two. Might still keep and eye on the line during sales or in the clearance end caps.
