DCD Blue Beetle

I thought I would present a last appearance Blue beetle to all of you.

 

He is made from a modified Crisis on Infinite Earths Flash. (I know, I need to try Boil and pop methods....)

his belt and the black strips on his gloves and boots are styrene, and the goggles are small craft eyes with the backs cut out.

The blood splatter was made from E-6000 industrial strength glue.

there's a guy that thinks he really is ted kord... Haven't seen much about this, it's in the Manhunter comics.

 

I was horribly upset when I heard Ted died.... so I commemorated his achievements with this last appearance figure.

That is amazing work. Perfect idea on the use of the Barry Allen Flash for the extra head and the perfect body shape.

and thanks Chris, my brothers and i read the issue where he died, while at the comic store (yeah, we're the bane of everyone with that hobby) and then saw this flash. we bought the comic and the figure, and they let me go with it.

 

this is actually my second Blue beetle custom... I just haven't posted the other one. I will be soon, though. he's part of a set.
