It's that time again. Baseball season is right around the corner and that can only mean one thing: the ADC/TNI Fantasy Baseball league is ready for another season.

It'll ask you for the League ID# and password. Here are those:

Just come up with your team name, fill out some miscellaneous stuff, and you're ready to play ball.

 

Not much will change from last season. Only one stat category has changed from previous seasons. Holds have now been replaced with innings pitched. Now teams won't have to worry about set-up relief pitchers and can focus more on starting pitchers. I figured innings pitched would be the best stat to take over, since IP will encourage daily participation and reward active managers. I'm just wondering if anyone would want the walk category to be included for hitters. My only problem is what stat would walks replace.

 

EDIT: The league draft is scheduled for Saturday on March 24th at 3:00 EST/2:00 CDT.

One part that I hate is the fact that Yahoo had no more time left for a weekend live draft. Also, there weren’t any times to have the draft at night. Best time I could find was Thursday, March 22nd at 4:45 eastern time. It’s a horrible time, but there really isn’t much I can do about it.

 

Yahoo has been doing that the past few years - they keep the prime spots closed until they fill up the day slots. They know everyone wants those night and weekends draft times so they get the early birds to commit to the crap times. The better slots will open up in a week or two so we can change it then.

Awesome. I moved the draft two days later. Therefore, EDIT: draft time has been changed to Sunday on March 25th at 2:00 CDT. Hopefully this will allow mostly everyone to participate on that day. Just to note though, draft time can change if anyone requests for it. So as of now, this is a tentative draft time until I put it in stone.

 

Also just to note, I'll send out PMs to other potential players when March Madness rolls around.

I had a request to change the draft time, so hopefully everyone is okay with this time. If not, just PM me so we can all figure out a good time for the draft.

 

Since there's less than two weeks away from the draft, it looks like we'll stick with the 10 teams that have signed up and lock it.
