ToyFare #116 Lion O Custom Figure!

Woot! Even tho I still haven't recieved my issue I'm getting emails that my Thundercats Lion O custom has been featured in ToyFare issue #116! So without further delay...

I like how the swords turned out. Close to the original cartoon sword but with a more detailed look. They're not as glaringly different as the new He-man sword was, but still recognizable. Enjoy!

 

 

**I've already recieved a few emails/comments from some of the more unsavory members of the Fwooshnet about how I've 'ripped off their customizer's designs' with this figure. ToyFare requested I make this figure how they wanted it to look and supplied me with the base parts. If I'm 'ripping off' someone, it wasn't by choice. I can't even view the Fwooshnet site anymore as the moderators have gone to great lengths to ban my IP addy and various online web-proxies that allow you to surf anon (my apologies if you were using one and can't view the Fwooshnet anymore) so I can't match my work up against someone else's and tell if I've copied them. If you made a Lion O similar to this, hats off to you and I'm giving you credit!

Yep, saw it in the magazine. The detail on that is incredible! Love the swords too. They really need to produce an updated Thundercats line.

Shame about Fwooshnet though. I would have thought alot of people would think of ML style Thundercats. I know I did before even knowing of this place.

Awesome work Jin. Really love the claw shield, I was always so disappointed with it on the original toy as compared to the cartoon version.

Ya know, that's a bunch of crap. Pretty sad that they'd do something like that over a custom that was printed in Toyfare, ripped off or not.

 

Regardless, this is a great custom, and congrats on your Toyfare recognition!

Thats a great custom, and don't even worry about it. People get mad when their skills are not as good as someone else. I think your one of the best, and you show how you do your work, so thats even better.
