true on the at-at part but the shuttle did go on clearance, my target had a ton sitting there. i picked up 1 for 40. the clone wars gunship can still be found at some tru, it did not sell as well.

 

also those are both imperial vehicles, the bantha is for the 4 tusken raider fans out there.

Haha, the Bantha looks kinda funny with it's nappy li'l dreads. However, Hasbro shoulda made it a Classic Trilogy toy and lose the chick Sandperson and Massif, and included another Tusken Raider. For collectors' sake I hope the figure on top is VOTC and not POTF2.

When will some collectors get off this "high horse" of theirs?

 

The last Bantha release was 1998. Many of the kids buying the line today WEREN'T EVEN BORN YET! The releases like this (the shuttle, AT AT, etc) are partly intended for kids and collectors that weren't around in 1997, 1998, or the last time (nearly a decade in some cases) these things were originally released.

 

Nobody is making older collectors buy this stuff again, but for kids and collectors not around, this is a FANTASTIC chance to get these iconic creatures and vehicles without resorting to the often outrageous aftermarket costs on ebay, or the aftermarket period.
