Kind of a lame assortment. They're going with the first contact uniforms first and one of the figures is .... Ezri Dax?

 

I guess we'll potentially see "variants" that include the original DS9 uniforms?

 

Hmmm....and I guess that means O'Brien may have a TNG uniform variant? That would be sweet.

 

I guess they would probably stick Q's head on a DS9 uniform. There's another possibility.

 

It'll be interesting to see the scale and sculpt of Quark, too.

Update - Toy Fair has the first wave of Diamond DS9 figures, and the Starfleet officers in the series have the original DS9 uniforms rather than the First Contact uniforms where applicable. (I think they are actually calling them "Season 3" uniforms)

I just got up and did a little dance when I saw these!

 

The Sisko and Odo look sweet! Odo especially. Even though he made it a point to NEVER use a gun on the show, as long as he comes with his bucket, that's all that matters. The two Daxes I'm not as sure about. Especially the Ezri. Oh well, I'm getting all of them

 

Are there links to them in these "season 3" uniforms? Looks like I'll have to struggle with the "whitch uniform set to collect" again.

Me too, I think. I actually LIKE the season 3 uniforms better, but I'm gonna get them ALL and I want them to look the same, so if I went that rout Ezri would stand out (not to mention Ensign Nog if he gets made). So I think it'll be the First Contact uniforms for me. Plus, it's gotta be CAPTAIN Sisko. Not Commander. Plus, I already have the Worf. See, I've thought this all out......

The Captain Sisko head looks to be the same one used witht the Trials and Tribilations Sisko. I wonder if those new DS9 bodies are scaled down at all. TOT were smaller to fit in with the rest of the TOS guys. The new Sisco's head looks well proportioned to the rest of him. ( Just another nerdy thought running around in my head).

And after seeing the latest waves of BSG, TNG wave 4 & TWOK Kirk, I doubt they will look anything like the

actual actors....so, be prepared for that.
