$25.00 for 5 figures, not bad, actually a good price. I like the way that they are coming in a set, that is cool with me. Hopefully we will see the other single packs this weekend. Too bad no mention of vehicles still, I can only hope that GIJCC comes out with the rest of the comic packs to finish the orginal 13, time will tell. Thanks for the info JayC.

5 Joes in a set

5 Cobras in a set

and 15 single packs

 

And all I got to say is that sucks... The cobra trooper is coming in a 5 pack... Should have done an officer in the 5 pack and single carded the trooper. I am a little pissed about this. How are we supposed to army build the trooper now? I will calm down if they release the trooper single card too but that might mean we loose one of the 15 slots that could go to a new character.

 

 

On a side note I am really curiours to see who they think the 25 "most poular" characters are. Opinions on that vary sso much I don't think they are going to please everyone. As long as i get Flint, LJ and Spirit I'll be fine. We'll see.

I'm calling Flint, Jaye, Spirit, Shipwreck, and Beachhead for the Joes... Zartan, Firefly, Major Bludd, and (sadly, yes) Serpentor for Cobra.

 

I'm suspect that we're guaranteed these few, because Hasbro has copyrights for them, and they are all either visually interesting, or very popular characters (in most cases, both).

 

I'm also suspicious that we'll get a Hooded CC and V2 Snake-Eyes in the signle packs, as a new head sculpt and a change of Snake-Eyes' removable web gear is all that's necessary to effect these two popular variations on the two most popular Joe characters.

The price point is actually better (for my wallet) then i expected.

As for the figures. I'm actually pretty happy. All except I wish they'd take the Trooper out of 5 pack and replace him with like Major Bludd, Firefly, Zartan or someone and put the Trooper on single card. I was going to army build the crap out of that guy. 25 and 6 bucks seems like really good prices too. Can't complain there.

I doubt it. I think they just mean the style of packing that started in 1982.

 

Besides there are only 9 single carded 82 guys left (Counting Mail Away Major Bludd) and only 13 if you count vehicle drivers. There arn't enough 82 guys left to make up the 15.
