Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots Snake Figure

Not really feeling this figure all that much....maybe I'd feel better if the figure had some Marvel Legends Icons style articulation.

If it's how I'm thinking it is, imagine the articulation being like the Lord of the Rings figures that came with the horses. They had full articulation under a rubber "skin", which in this case is the sneak suit. I'm just not liking this design, so I'll pass. I'd like it if they did a MGS2 Snake and Raiden in the same style. I've got all of the MGS1 12 inchers from Yamato, and I'd like to add to the collection with some of these higher-end 12 inchers.

The articulation is there, its just hidden by the suit. I think it looks fantastic, but I wouldnt pay the prices this thing will go for. Now if only Neca would go after the license........

Oh ok, nice. :)

It'll probably be close to $300 like the last one was.

No way I'd drop 300 bucks on this or any other action figure.....maybe $100....maybe.

Same goes for me too... :(

I still like this figure though... I'm really excited about the whole "old Snake" concept.

Mundo, you seem to have quite a collection of MGS figures :D Cool. They are so hard to get by now... It'd be coolt to see them all together. Do you have some photos?

Maybe I made that Yamato collection seem a little bigger than it actually is. The whole set consisted of four figures, haha. The hardest one to acquire though, was Meryl. Then Liquid Snake was not too hard. Snake and Sniper Wolf were the easiest. I'll get some pics up in a little bit.

Snake only came with the pistol, laser attachment, and suppressor, all of which break down and fit in the holster. His grenades came from another 12" figure, and the FAMAS is from Meryl.

Along with this collection, I also have all the 6" McFarlane figures, but I'm in the middle of moving all my figures around, so they're not set up now.

It won't be $300....at least not at first. If they release a limited "young" Snake version or something like that then it'll sell like hot cakes and price will go up FAST.

The price on this guy will be around $100-$150 starting. It may go up as stock runs out from Medicom.

Medicom made a MGS3 Snake figure. They made THREE versions, the most common is the "Snake Striple Camo w/ Crocodile hat" version (he's also the cheapest...ranging around $150 still), then theres the "Fire Camo with Zombie Facepaint" version, and the MOST rare and the one that is probably going for $300 is the "Tiger Stripe Camo with no eye-patch" version of Naked Snake.

Even brand new they were close to $300 because production didn't go over a couple of hundred units for each, with the rarest only having a few dozen of it made.

I love the look of the Medicom figures. But it really is such a shame about the price which I'd never be able to afford.
