An idea to bring over...

No. They can eventually do a MP Galvatron if they want to, but this has to be Megs in his true G1 look.

I think I have figured out a way to circumvent the stupid U.S. laws (at least for me). I only live about an hour from the Canadian border. I will figure out the closest Comic Shops in Windsor, Ontario and preorder one through them then smuggle it over the border orange-cap free. :D

The whole orange cap thing is just plain ridiculous! First off, he's packaged in bot mode and this ISN'T a kids toy!!!

Second, from the pics I saw of someone holding him in gun mode, he's freakisly large, especially for a hand gun of that make. If ANYONE ever mistook that as a real gun, then I suspect that same person would also mistake a bologna sandwhich for a gun...that's how stupid they'd have to be.

Let's be real, we have cops in this country walking around that are total ##$%$#s. They could shoot a kid holding a frickin comb thinking it was a gun. So what now? Ban all the combs cuz some dipshit in backwater USA shot a kid that was holding one thinking it was a weapon?

All these safety laws do, is let already dumb people be even dumber. I just don't see how that helps anything.

Did you hear Dane Cook's skit about the cops in New York shooting a guy who was eating a pear because they thought it was a grenade?

If I recall correctly, the "orange tip" stuff came about because a cop shot some kid who had a LASER TAG gun (which doesn't even look like a "real" gun). Simple answer is that the stupid morons among us make the rest of us suffer (whether it is the cops, the kids or the parents). Remember the idiot who fired a missile from a Battlestar Galactica Viper down his throat? NOW we have super long, crappy looking, missiles. Stupid morons in action.

Wasn't the whole "gun" thing why we couldn't get SIX SHOT over from Japan?

madman has a point, Bear. They should have just made MP-05 a real gun. That would have solved everything.

....it probably would have also led to a large amount of jokes surrounding the idea that you "never tick off a bunch of fans at a Transformers convention, or you'll get it Megatron style."
