ML repairs

Questions for the experienced: do you recommend Krazy Glue to fix loose parts on ML figures? I have a Beta Ray Bill with a loose shoulder pad and wanted to repair it. Is Krazy Glue an acceptable adhesive to work with it or will it leave white marks or some other artifact on my figure?

I read something about glue that crystalizes or somesuch when you put it on and then put some water on it, hopefully someone here can help you out more, I've never had the guts to try it yet my self

I've used Krazy Glue to fix stuff before, but never anything where the glue would be visible. My SS boxset Green Goblin for example had the hand popped off and that's how I put it back on. The glove covers the spot where you could see the glue.

So I can't comment on if it leaves residue, but it does hold up pretty well.

Ooh, I got this one, hehe. I've used a freaking ton of superglues over the years. My personal favorite, what I use on every one of my customs now, is 'Future Glue' by the Super Glue Corp. It use to come in a silver tube but recently they've swapped over to a white and red tube. There's a gel version of this but I hate gels, they're not as strong.

So what's the big deal about Future Glue? For one it bonds through that joint lube/mold release. Second, it bonds different types of plastic normal superglue has trouble with and will even bond paper/felt/cardboard to plastic. Superglues usually have a hard time with porous stuff. It says on the package 'bonds faster' but I don't notice a different. Using it to tighten joints, it gives me ample time to work them and won't freeze them instanty or anything.

I end up having to find Future Glue at my Michael's Craft stores because for some reason Wal Mart doesn't carry it. I think Ace carries it, maybe Home Depot, so check around.
