Joe bootleg/knockoff pics

Here are a few pics of some of the more recent Joe bootlegs I have found:

These are mostly Extreme Troop and X-Troop figures but there are a few others in there as well. When I added these awhile back I think I may have incorrectly labeled some of them as by definition a bootleg is an unauthorized copy of a toy (usually poor quality) whereas a knock-off is a toy by a legitimate company based on an existing toy.

If anyone has pics of others please post 'em!

I have a couple of those loose, my buddy from Canada go them for me.. the articulation sucks, it's like they were molded in one piece and then articulation was added to that.. If I remember right, they had neck, shoulder and hip, but the hip articulation was real iffy... hope that helps.

I found all of these on ebay. Just search for them and you will find some as they pop up every once in awhile.

As far as the articulation and quality--it is horrible. The arms don't even bend on these figures and they are similar to the India Funskool Pepsodent figures:

Yeah, I remember these guys now. I didn't know their official name, but I've seen them on ebay. I once got one of the 'Undertow' knockoffs figuring I could use some of them to buffer my Iron Grenadier forces. Man, was I disappointed when I saw what I got. At least his accessories are still nice. I don't even know where mine is anymore. I believe he fell somewhere into the mire of my box of rejects and discards.

I found some of these at a local discount store for a couple of bucks each. funny thing is that most of them had thier o-rings broken. cheap material, I guess.

oh, and the baroness's hair was placed too way high up on top of her head and gave her a forehead twice as big as before. these things are still hanging on the pegs!

i have the set of those x-troop figures i bought a few years back cuz i thought it might me cool to have a handful of knock offs. they are pretty poor quality especially in the paint apps, but i never opened them so i cannot comment on the actual quality, but they are kinda funny.

These look cool... I would buy knock-off joes if they were sturdy and looked like something I would need to make a dio or a scene for display. :)
