Man, they really look good. I may still get them even if they are 5" scale, but I really wish Hasbro keeps all their other Marvel Action Figure toylines(Marvel Movies, future animated series, character/theme lines, etc.) in 6" scale so that they are in scale with Marvel Legends. I have a strange feeling that the F4: Rise Of The Silver Surfer toys will be in 5" scale too. And if they do release 6" versions of Spider-man 3 toys, then it will either be part of ML, or Spider-man Orgins(If that line continues) or Hasbro's Spider-man Classics(If those toys are in 6" scale. Rumors indicate that they maybe 5" scale too). If they decide to bring back Superhero Showdown though(Without the stupid game stuff), I'll accept that.

 

Makes me wonder if Hasbro was paying attention with what Mattel has been doing with their DC Comics toylines. You had only their comic book Batman and DC Superheroes in 6" scale, and have The Batman, Superman Returns, and Batman Begins in 5.5", when it would of been better for those to be in 6" scale(Especially those movie lines). Seems like Hasbro maybe doing the same thing here.

 

Hasbro, I know you do good job on you're toy lines in most cases, but really, what you're doing with changing the scale of the other Marvel toylines is pretty dumb. I really hope you guys catch on and realize that it's better to keep them all in 6" scale, and if you want to produce smaller figures, I suggest doing them in an approximate 4" scale similar to ML Superhero Showdown(As long as you don't reintroudce the game) so that they are inscale with your approx 3" scale G.I. Joe figures.

 

I'm usually not too picky about my scale of figures, because in the past, I've had smaller figures interact with 6" figures, however, it is usually much better when you have you're figures all in 1 scale.

Uhg. Don't give Hasbro any ideas. Bad enough that we're getting so many X3 figures in ML. Movie figures should stay in separate lines.

 

I don't particularly want the movie figures in ML, but if it turns out to be the only option we get then personally I don't mind. If we do get a choice of line it's to be in other than its own though, then I'd pick Spidey Origins.

Yup those definetly look to be in the 5" scale. Oh and did anyone else notice that the web accessory that come with the Black Spidey seems to be the same web accessory that came with some of the old Toy Biz 5" scale spidey figures from the 90s?

I'll definately get Venom, Symbiote Spidey and Sandman.

 

My friend said today that everyone would be around 5.5 inches...and possibly Venom being 6 inches. I guess we'll hafta wait for pics. I'll get them regardless scale doesn't really matter to me as long as they are in scale with the rest of their line

So when can I expect these to be hitting my area? I live in PA and read April but I would imagine they would release them way in advance to hype up the movie like Hasbro did with Ghost Rider
