Hasbro=No twist ties!!!

I found Movie (CHANGE O HEAD) Ghost Rider at my Wally World last night and upon opening him up I realized Hasbro had sustituted the twisty ties with some clear rubberband thingies. I must say I LOVE the headsculpt they did for Nicolas Cage too looks just like him...GReAT figure.

This is the back of my Hasbro 12" Ghost Rider, it has a ton of twist-ties.

I realize it's a bigger, heavier toy, and the clear rubberband thingies probably wouldn't be able to hold it in place, but twist-ties gone? Nah.

They still use twist ties sorry to say. They might use less. But they are still using them.

Regardless, I prefer twisties over clear bands anyday.

 

Twisties, while a pain in a ass to untwist at times, does not warp your toy like the clear bands. I think joes and star wars suffer the most from having deform hands because of those bands.

I really like the twisties, actually. That's how I secured Redwing to Falcon's stand. I used twisties to secure ML3 Magneto to a flight stand. Same goes for ML9 War Machine and ML10 Angel. I have my SMC black costume Spidey hanging upside-down from a twisty - they do make decent webs. The way I see it, the twisties are one more thing that Hasbro is shorting us on
