DCD 13" Flash

I end up paying around $65 with shipping for the 13" figures.

 

Hope you've been able to find these cheaper than that. You can grab any of 'em (minus GL) for around $50 or less, shipped, from some very reputable comic shop stores on ebay.

One does. Buy it now for $154 + around $11 shipping. Eventually they all catch on and increase their prices to where the product is topping out at.

U guys seem to have pretty sweet deals on DCD 13"figures. I remember getting the 13"Batman for around $90CAD from my comic store. I'm thinking of getting Shazam which will probably be another $90...

Well I was very worried after reading all these reports of people having broken wings on their new 13" Flash figures.

 

I just received my figure. It doesn't have a single broken wing but rather TWO FRICKIN BROKEN WINGS on his head!!

This is UNACCEPTABLE for any figure, especially one that cost $60. I am so angry about this. This is the only line from DCD that I purchase anymore. Poor scale, paint aps, and lack of quality control caused me to drop their other lines. Must I drop the 13" line as well??

 

Open up some lines of communication with us DCD.....what are you going to do about this crap?? Did I mention that I was mad?

What type of glue will fix this? I don't want a crappy looking figure.

OUCH, that sucks. Mine WAS supposed to get here yesterday, but according to the tracking info, it was delayed a day, and should arrive sometime today. I'll keep you updated if anything is broken. Keeping my fingers crossed. Anyone else run into problems?

Ok, got him today, and thankfully...no problems. At first there was a rattling sound and I was kind of worried, but all it was only one of the extra hands had popped out of its slot and was rattling around. Other than that, everything else is fine, no broken wings here.

Alter Ego told me that they checked all of the Flash figures before mailing them out....the reason? Because 25% of their stock from Diamond had broken wings on them. Shame on DCD.

I'm not overly fond of the Flash's neck or his VPL (Visible Panty Lines). But I'll take any DC figure I can find...I'm an obsessive compulsive collector when it comes to DC.

I just noticed mine had a broken wing on his head. It was not completly broken off yet, it was barely hanging on by a "thread". I barely touched it and it fell off. Do you think Cornerstone will replace it? Is it worth the trouble? I dont play with my figures but even if I do get a good replacement, whos to say it wont break off again? Im not even sure superglue would work because its so small. DCD should really step up and fix this problem and offer to replace any broken figures.

Alter Ego offered to replace mine but after seeing how the slightest pressure on the box causes the inner tray to buckle and touch the figures head, I decided not to. I'm sure that the replacement would be broken as well. Considering that 25% of the Flash figures that Alter Ego received from Diamond had broken wings, I'm not gonna mess with it.

 

I superglued them on tonight and one worked perfectly....the other is a little noticeable but not enough to worry about. I'm going to touch up the yellow paint a bit as well.

Still waiting to get that darn elusive GL. Over the past several weeks, there have been fewer and fewer on eBay. Only ONE is up at the moment and it starts at $140 with a BIN of $160. Was watching a loose one that went for $125. To get one, it looks like its still gonna be around $150. @grumpy@
