I hear that a lot about some Hasbro figures. Being a Transformers collector, this is nothing new to me.

I understand what people are talking about, but it's never as bad as they make it seem. It feels lighter and SEEMS like it would be more brittle but it's not.

I've got a bunch of figures that have carried the "feels like a KO" stigma but they've all held up quite nicely over time and I really don't have any complaints.

Actually, in some cases I think it's actually a benefit to the figure. It seems to cut down on problems due to the figures weight distribution. In ML/Spiderman it may not be that much of an issue, but with TF's that could be a REALLY big thing.

A KO figure on the other hand, has parts break off as soon as you try to move an arm or a leg or something. TOTALLY not the same!

Besides, for most of us these figures will spend 99% of their lives posed on a shelf. How they look is what I would say is the more important thing.

Most of these are just reissues of previous Spidey Classics and ML figures. The lightweight Rhino is the same as the pre-ML Rhino thst Toy Biz released several years ago. The only thing that sucks is the mettalic paint they've been putting on these figures. Spidey 2099 could have looked a little better.

I bought ML15 Iron Man and a whole bunch of Spider-Man Origins yesterday. The only one that broke was from ToyBiz...

All seems good to me. You want a "knockoff" feel then buy something from Jazwares (Mortal Kombat figures are super light and feel like they might shatter if you drop one).

I was real impressed with 2099 Spidey; his paint apps were spot on and the dark metalic blue really worked for 'em. Ultimate Iron Man was great as well. Great joints that I don't have to force into working.

Most of all: Nothing broke! Yay! If this is a "warning" of things to come, then LET IT COME! I like not having to worry about whether or not my toy is gona break right outa the package.

They are just re-issues of Toybiz figures so I really don't understand the complaint.

They are from HASBRO, and use different plastics/paints.

I think that about sums it up

I don't have origins Rhino, but I have the tb Armor Rhino that shares the same mold and that also feels cheaply made since it is light and the plastic feels different.
