Don't know if this has been touched on, but is this modifiable for 3" like the original s6 vamp?

Dremmels can do wonders.

 

Oh, and can anybody post a link to a site or some such walkthrough on any and all s6 vehicles that are modifiable and instr.? I PRAY that the firebat is somehow, like the Dragonhawk was.

 

Wouldn't it be cool if hasbro made the s6 vehicles in 3" scale (kinda like the desperate dts rocc loss re-coup attempt at re-packaging) with included 2" cockpit or seat inserts so everybody is happy?

I think there's a thread at Joecustoms that has some of the mini vehicles that can be converted for the 3.75" line.. but to be honest, I think all the mods to the VAMP 2 that I've seen looked rather odd and just wrong... just cause the figure "fits" in the vehicle, doesn't mean it works.. if the guys head is poking outside the roof.. then yeah, I just dont think it's gonna work out..

 

Oh... and I found one today at Target... $10 I might go back tomorrow and get the 2 mechs they had if they're still $10

yeah, i remember seeing a post one time with a modded vamp. and it looked pretty lame. it looked worse than the mini vehicles from gvc. just totally out of scale. i recall someone also seating a a 3.75" figure in a firebat also, and same deal, just looked off.

 

one of the things i love so much about the dragonhawk is its size. when converted to fit 3.75" figures it becomes a smaller ship. but with the 2.75" figures it's an awesome big honkin' mutha of a drop ship.

dang, my targets and walmarts sold out of all the sigma vehicles at christmas time. sucks 'cause while i was checkin' out my mech last night i realized i want a couple more. would be cool to have a mech squad for a spartan group. was even thinkin' of pickin' up another arctic vamp and a couple more night ops vamps for my spartans too. guess i'll have to wait 'til they restock. and i'm pretty sure 10 bucks is the regular price now.

Even better... I'm gonna check the Target across the street tomorrow.. it was funny, the Target I went to, the whole toy aisle looked like a ghost town, about 5x as many pegs as there were toys.. but they must have gotten a case of the vehicles, lol.. cause the whole sigma section was wiped... maybe a figure pack here and there... but they had like 6 boxed vehicles, lol... hopefully the same goes for the Target across the street, that'd be sweet!
