So who here collects RE figs?

An El Gigante would rock, but I am already gonna move RE4 from my shlef to make room for the classic RE. Unless I do some careful organization. Also got my X in he rocks and is a BEAST wasn't expecting him to be so big or to come in that huge box. My 10th set should arrive tommorow and not a moment to late cause it's my B-day.

Definitely post pics w/ the new Mr. X and 10th Ann. Series 2. Anxious to hear the final verdict on series 2.

 

I finally grabbed 10th Ann. Hunk from Spencer's...they bumped series 1 down to $9.98.

 

Anybody see Resident Evil: Extinction? I most likely won't.

The Palisades and MD Mr. X are pretty much the same figure in a different scale. Though being the Palisade's version is more compact he looks more detailed, the Moby Dick version looks a little more plain.

 

The Moby Dick version has a more game-accurate color too. Mr. X is usually portrayed as having pale gray skin, but his skin was much darker and a bit brown in-game.

Do any of you have the MD Nemesis Type-3 or the Ivy? They are the only ones I don't have and I was wondering how they stack up

 

Also which company do you guys think did the best job with the property and why?

 

Toy Biz: Cool then, not-so-cool now. Great variety, but by todays standards, a little lacking.

 

Palisaides: Great assortments, scale and articulation.

 

Moby Dick: Alot of figures. But they are a #$#@# to track down, EXPENSIVE, have weird articulation, and scale-wise don't fit in with anything else.

 

NECA: The pre-posed stances and limited articulation have very little appeal for me.

 

Dragon: Well, only Chris and Claire, but they are SWEET!!! They also made some little Kubrick-type figures, but I only have the CV version of Chris.

I got the Type-3 but no Ivy though I want one. I also Really want the MD Nemesis Types-1&2.

 

It's a tough call saying who has the best figs. I have so many from different companies.

 

You wouldn't happen to have the Types1&2 if so you got some pics.

I Just want that final form Nemesis from the Moby Dick line....

 

I think Palisades really did make the best overall figures, but Toy Biz made the best "toys" because at the time, it was sold in places like KB Toy Store.

Did the MD line maintain a consistent scale? I know the Licker looks huge.

Yeah, fairly consistent for the most part.

I'd say the monsters can fit in pretty well with other RE figs. The Humans are clearly larger than say NECA or Psades. As far as I can tell the scale of the RE figs among eachother are pretty good but I haven't seen em all in person. Plus I like the huge size of the MD X cause it makes him look so much more intimidating.
