FINALLY found Classics Mirage

Of course not. I still need Skyfire, Grimlock, Ramjet, Cliffjumper, Ultra Magnus/Skywarp and the Plague Trooper 6-pack.

 

That having been said, it seems kinda said that I can list EVERYTHING I still need that easily. But, really, what is left to get? Alternators are on haitus, there isn't a peep out of any possible new Classics and G.I. Joe (3", of course) is done (I'll believe wave 4 when I see the damn things). What is left? The movie toys look pretty crappy and I would NOT discount the possibility of some lame "action" gimmick. Nobody has heard squat about the anniversary Joes that are supposed to be out next year (which will, most likely, get pushed back in favor of the TF movie stuff).

 

I don't even make toy runs any more. I use to hit every Walmart, Target, TRU, K-Mart and a handful of other stores (like Family Dollar) at least once a week. Now, I just check TRU and the occasional Target (Walmart NEVER has squat).

 

This isn't really a rant about how Hasbro sucks for not putting out more stuff (I don't really collect other lines), especially when they have such amazing stuff in both the Cybertron and Classics lines (either the bottom line, money, says they are money makers or they just don't realize the potential they have...). No, this is more a depressing realization that seeing any considerable new stuff is pretty much over.

 

On the positive side (and once I pick up the 6 items I mentioned above), I'll have more money for older stuff....

I don't think there is such a thing as ever being caught up. It only seems like one can get close but there is always something out there that needs to be gotten.

 

I need Grimlock and all the new minicons right now and that's pretty much it for what's currently new. By the time I find all those though, the new stuff will be coming out and I'll have to start searching all over again.

Ah yes, the thrill of the hunt. lol

 

Me and my girl, went shopping for some gifts, and went to Wally World. Hehee. They musta just got their shipment, because the TF section was jamming. I saw a shitload of Alts, only 2 Classics, Titaniums, Universe, Galaxy Force and a ton of Cybertrons.. My girl got Blue Tracks for me and Classics Rodimus. They also had a Classics Bumblebee... by the time we walked around the store and came back to the toy section, Bumblebee was already sold out. Damn, are the Classics THAT popular? Haven't seen any Grimlock's or Mirage's though.

 

Also hit National Wholesale Liquidators, bought a WSTF Devastator. Wow the quality on those lil mofos is amazing. They'd look much better with some Reprolabels, instead of the ones they came with.
