I finally scored the last piece I was missing for my 25th anniversary GI Joe collection, Wave 1 Snake Eyes with Black Timber. It's finally a wrap for that collection. I also found a couple of DG Joes, Stormshadow, Duke, Cobra Trooper and Shipwreck.

Finally found some of the wave 2 GI Joes at 2 different Dollar Generals. One in Athens and Hartselle Alabama. I picked up the Blue Cobra and the grey Duke.

This was my Birfday weekend....so I went Joe Hunting......out of 8 Walfarts I went to only 2 of them had the 2nd wave. All the rest had the PegWarmers from the 1st wave hanging on. Doesn't look good for the later waves I dunno its hard to call it on Joes anymore. I did snag up a Brown Joe Halo Trooper so I have my final for my 5 man squad made up of the browns and blues haha.....Vehicles were stocked up and 3 packs were still easy to find, some stores even still had the ninja 3 packs that were out way earlier....aneeeways for my late B-day package from online purchases, I got Slaughter's Marauders & my GF purchased me the Dreadnoks (it was something I made sure to mention day and night for a least month before my birthday) for my present!! Butt a problem w/my purchase that was eventually worked out delayed my gratification. So today I have the whole Dreadnok Family in my possession, their planning on a family re-union BBQ this weekend......and of course Falcon gets the Slaughterhouse!.......all in all it was awesome

I gotta get this thread moving.Well I got the eaglehawk(tomahawk for us older guys)I have not taken it out of the box but the box is small.I am waiting to get another one at retail.

I haven't seen ANYthing for months besides wave 1 Roadblock, Duke, Flint, and Snake Eyes. And most of the stores that I go to barely have any of those guys even.

 

where are all the figures at? stuck in Hasbro warehouses?

Yeah hard to talk about new sightings when there's no new product. Next wave should be shipping late July, I guess. Shipping to fans that ordered them online, that is. Who knows when/if they'll show in stores.

Scored the Eaglehawk the other day from TRU. I hope this thing makes it to TJMaxx and Ross. i wouldn't mind getting a couple more on the cheap.

Went to a TRU today....nada on the Eaglehawks or new Joes but plenty of the recent 3 packs and vehicles still full price.......The Target I went to had nothing either just the Bikes and Pegwarmers from wave 1 still at regular price.......

Here in Phoenix, the Ultimate Wave has been spotted & purchased at a TRU so the spice flows again....I hope I can snag up a Data Viper b4 they become scarce.....once again I never saw a Lady J at retail so hopefully I'll spot her atta Walgreens or Swapmeet........let the games re-begin at re-beginning....

Yeah no Shiiii!! whew MAN I Swear (alot) I check these sites at least 5 times a week sometimes 2x aday just to see if something popped up. I had no idea you had to enter the darn names in individually to order the dudes(why does it have to be this way sometimes).....well now I just have to find a few Night Vipers at retail...here's to hoping we seem that retail.....thanx for the heads up FM.....also you can find Hasblow codes if you just google them I used the current one for 10% off + I ordered enough guys for free shipping I was .05 (fivecent) shy of free shipping but I did need 2 of the Dark Ninjas (I never saw them at retail either)......now I just need to score some SW's Black 6" figs and my toy frenzy should be over for the year....

Really lucked out, I haven't ordered any of the Ultimate wave (yet) and at Walmart this morning I scored a Storm Shadow, Data Viper and Ultimate Firefly. They had a few of the older figures and of course they weren't in the computer. Still finding a couple at Retail and Walmart for that fact was nice.

 

One Sept 11 I found a Ultimate SE and Ultimate RB at another Walmart about fifteen miles aways from the other one. That time they showwed up in the computer.

Got the Joe Vs TF's 2013 SDCC set (try saying that 5 times slow) I ordered from HTS last night in da mail.......love the box.....my gf asked me if I was going to open it......I told her I just don't know.....if I don't, for all I know they could've stuffed them full of plastic rocks....I'm not moving out of my current place after all so my man-cave ideas have been put to pasture for now.....bummer, I really wanted some space to display my stuff.....now that I snagged up this set, the collector-maniac in me wants to secure the first 2 sets from the previous years......well see how that works out....no JOE emoticons??...@afroman@

well I've been hunting for shadows for abit now......hit a few Walgreens, Walmarts, Targets & TRU's & still nothing......some WGs still had Regenades Cobra Commander & Ripcord on the shelves....Walmart & Target had nothing.....one TRU still had 6 of the 11 first wave Retaliation Stormy's they had from last month, the other TRU had 1st wave Rockblocks & Green Pantsuit Dukes galore....very sad state of affairs....I'm assuming they're waiting for Xmas or the next Joe Movie to come out, till they release the last wave at retail here.....NO JOE!! knowing where the H they sell them is most of the battle......

I coulda swore last year at this time I was posting about the lack of Joes at the boxsores during Xmas time......this year is no exception....I've been to way too many stores to count in the last 2 weeks & nada....TRU has joes but still the 1st wave of Retaliation....& even then its Stormy, Duke & always one lone Rockblock....I guess Hasblow has plenty of other lines to manage but this is lame on so many levels.....the movie has come & gone....but the indigestion is still here....I think from local reports there's like 1 Walgreens that's paying off for newer joes but the rest don't have S either.....a lone TRU on the far end of the valley has them I guess but I can't confirm that either.....I guess just before the next movie hits the final wave of Retaliation will show up?

GI Joe Figure Peg Section Rest in Peace 2013

I've been coming to this TRU for abit now....I bought majority of my collection here, I found my POC Joes here, MP ThunderCracker, TMNT Classics, All of my NECA stuff.....I hoped that someday my sister's kid's kids would shop here....but NO.....when I'm dust & the sun has set upon my tired body & the sun has bleached my bones (I can only assume my demise will be like Paul Maudib, walking out into the desert to be swallowed up by a sand worm or a sarlacc)I can only hope those future chidrens will take their online currency or bitcoins to spend on other box stores maybe Kaybee Toyz or Children's Palace will make a resurgence in the year 3000. These Same Pantsuits Dukes & One Lone RockBlock have been hanging on for dear life on these pegs since before the Kardashians began to plague our airwaves like digital Std's.....like so much Toilet paper on the bottom of some unaware douche's shoes......they keep hanging on & hanging out.....I've walked down that aisle too many times only to feel the same pain I felt when the world would not let go of "Artic Destro"....I want to buy these figs and put them under the tires of the family roadster and peel out on them in the TRU parking lot......or soak them in gasoline overnight till their plastic faces melt into goo.....better yet set up a dio of Hell on the gas grill and flame broil these my way......I get tired of talking to the hapless employees that see nothing wrong with hanging on to stock for dear life, society will crumble around us, empires will come and go....a millennium will pass & these same figs will still be there.....GI Joe Re-boot Part XXV will have its movie premiere & its toys for that fiasco will have came & gone.....but still the disappointing drab green hues of Duke & the dark spouse whipper of Rockblock will still stand the test of time.....that manager in charge will spit into the eyes of convention and rather than make thousands of dollars in sales in new Joe Product, he will still hang on the to the same 6 figs w/out clearancing them out so he can save the company $60 dohlers......confound you Pantsuit Duke & Dark Spouse Whipper Rockblock may CROM strike down your plastic faux-ivory palaces and replace you w/regressive Joes that only have 5 Point of Articulation.....for shame not to have new Joes on your Holiday Season Shelves TRU.....I shake my head as I'm forced to head to Walgreens to hunt for Joes that are atta $2 markup amongst the Q-tip Shoppers waiting for their meds & for Father Time to bring them home.....Excuse the Crapiness of my camera phone.....

Walmart has the Retaliation Cobra Invasion 3 Pack back up for sale online $25....I missed out on this Firefly & Invasion Trooper so it was kinda of score for me.....especially when Evilbay is asking $18 for ol' Firefly....I got the ship to store option so shipping was free...it is expensive considering Storm Shadow is forgettable in this pack...don't know what The Hasslebro was thinking they should've just boxed it up w/2 troopers so Army Building woulda been easier aneways have at it....
