Two Saturdays ago, I drove out to Novato, CA. to look for JLU figures but ended up at Marshall's nearby and finally found DVD Set # 5 and I finally have my Alpine to join his good buddy Bazooka.

Wandered into a Tuesday Morning, they had a small selection of 25th Joes from, Canada?! I picked up a cobra trooper and cobra diver. Oddly I'm not a fan of keeping things mint in box, but the smoke and lights have me hypnotized, the packaging is kewl, they were priced at 9-7 then finally at four bucks! Then just down the street at Big Lots, Turkey hasn't even been served and its xmas there, I spotted a buttload of World Peacekeepers Chap mei stuff, aside from the usual stuff I've seen, there were new ones? they had three different varieties of humvee vehicles all about 12 and 14 bucks, they had a new helicopter green camo, reminded me of the helicopter they used in in the first Jurassic Park movie but with the camo paint job it was 20, and last they had a new dio-set, it was called the battlefield, it was 30 bucks, I took pics but I have a crappy camera phone. The set was a burned out blown up building with various stairs, and places to pose to the death shoot outs. I thought it was kewl and it came with an array of extras, soldiers, weapons, and I think there was ATV jammed in there somewhere. The "peacekeeper" stuff has great potential for customizing.

I was at TJ Maxx yesterday and they didn't have any of the battles packs. I thought I had seen 1&2 before but it may have been Ross. They did have the Iron Grenadiers/Destro 3 pack and the Joe underwater something or other with Cutter and deep six. I need to swing my Marshalls sometime. There's one around the corner

The Long Search is Over......I cried, I danced, I loved, I hated, I cursed Hasbro to the deepest blackest depths.....but I digress......I finally found the "Best of the 80's" DVD Pack! Believe me I put forth a massive effort to find it, Now I can shut up about it. If your in the Phoenix Area your gonna have to make the long drive to the southeast valley, Marshalls north of the 202 and Santan Parkway, in south Gilbert. I Also spotted the DVD Battle packs #'s 3 & 4. I'm almost tempted to buy more of these (they were charging 16 bucks for em) so I can sell them for a fair price, as it seems every online scalper wants to screw us....I did pick up an extra Best of the 80s DVD pack. I'm considering selling it but would rather trade it for other interesting Joe stuff I'm looking for. I'll post on the trades section when I get a chance, otherwise if your in the Mesa/Tempe area send me an email thanx, good hunting.

Just from the advice from another thread, I went to Walgreens with no expectations.....they had Joes!......the prices vary from 10.99 or 9.99 ouch!....I must be getting good karma back from the toy gods....I found "best of 80s" on Friday, now today I found "the doctor" with the white lab coat, and City Strike snake eyes! They had battle damage stormy, nano vipers, CS duke, JA ripcord....walgreens who knew?....I drove all over to Toysrus's, WM's, Targets, Kmarts, and other places beyond the void, but the Walgreens just down the street from my house!?...Joe Collecting is a hideous #@$#@ goddess.....

Finally found Night Adder - I didn't realize he's Resolute Roadblock with a different head - still, quite the Bad-arse. I'm displaying him without his vest just to show off the tats. A removable helmet would've been cool, b/c the head looks just a little small over all, but still a fun fig.

At the Canton, Ga Wal-Mart, Acworth, Ga SWal-Mart, and Towne Lake, Ga Wal-Mart I saw at least 2-5 cases of Wave 5 (Resolute Snake Eyes, Artic Storm Shadow, etc...) Over the last few days I've seen probably 6 or 8 Resolute Snake Eyes. Craziness down here in Georgia.

Madre de dios, WM's in phoenix are selling Nightravens for a twin, the Roc outpost battle sets are half off, good bargain & frickin sahweet for 7.48!! I works too hard for my moneys so I was wishing for a sale like this. I snagged up three of the four, but the Lazer set w/ Hawk and the repaint Joe just invoked a bad taste in my nostalgia, don't know why.....and of course the Two Packs ROC- monkeywrench, tunnel rat ect....I snagged the last set of Night Vip/Shocky for 6.98! I spotted CS SE, and Doctors aplenty, and across the aisle Marvel Uni. 3 3/4 inch Battle Pack Giants/oldschool Iron man & acid Cap. America for 13.26- and do you think its worth it for that price? I heard if you breath on those things the wrong way they break easily- sadly my budget was strained past the point so I had to decline....good hunting

Found the TRU Exclusive Sting Raider along with Arctic Doc and Shipwreck (didn't buy Shippie) today.

I almost missed the Sting Raider as it comes in a box barely bigger than the vehicle. After the big, window-box packaging we've become accustomed to, I didn't expect it.

The plus-side is, it's easy to open and mess with a bit and then put away again for storage - no wire ties or other stuff.
