FOUND A BLACK TIMBER @ KMART

Went to my local Wal*Mart tonight. They just did a toy reset and NO Joes to be seen. Not even Sigma Six. I looked at the empty pegs and it looks as if they just expanded the WWE figures over to where the Sigma stuff was. Real disapointing.

Well... not just yet everywhere. As far as all of Targets and the 1 K-Mart in my area goes they have the Joe stuff, but Wal-Mart is being a bit slower with their reset in my area. The 4 Wal-Marts I have checked all have the pegs ready or the space on the re-set sheets, but nothing just yet. Haven't checked any TRUs yet, though. Anyone looking - I would advise Target or K-Mart or wait another week or so.

Picked up two PTE A-10's now that they finally shown up here in SC.

 

I've only seen 25th show up once (WM) and they were all gone in 2 days.

 

My local Dollar General just got in 2 cases of the wave 3 single carded figs from 2005. Price on them has been upped to 2 for $5 now.

but it felt god to turn that corner in WalMArt and see the Joes on the rack

 

The also had the new Leatherneck,Shockwave, and SAndStorm

 

Both AT StormShadow and recondo

 

 

As well as having one Cobra 5 pack left

Well I figured they would still be next to the Corps! figures. My Wal*Mart has basically 2 isles of boy toys. One with cars and models and another with action figures. Are they putting them in with the cars and stuff now? I suppose I'll look but I doubt they are there. I went to another Wal*Mart in the next town over and they didn't have any Joes or places to put them either that I saw.

I'm in the same boat. They are flipping the diecast aisle, and the action figure aisle. No joes and none on the reset sheets. WWE figures butt right up against the Corps figures with no room in between. It's like that at all the Wal-Marts within driving distance from me.

 

 

But I found the 5-Packs at the Target in Osage Beach MO. I left one Cobra Pack. No sign of the single packs, but they had pegs for them.

I'm not a big Joe guy, but there are a few characters I mark out for, so I'm getting a few figures from this line. I already got my Snake Eyes, but now I'm thinking I'll probably end up with a Storm Shadow...& HOPEFULLY a Scarlett without having to buy the Joe pack. The Cobra pack is a maybe though.

 

Gotta say though, this Snake Eyes kicks total ass. =]

bunch of cool stuff today:

 

target: elite force m1 tank for 25, awesome tank, huge, real working treads, and some decent acc. too!

 

also had the new wave of sigma 6 figures of flint, snake eyes with gigantic crossbow, & the samurai ss, no red banshee robot. target did raise the price to 16.29! flint looked good but not for 16, ss has a ton of weapons.

 

tru: got me some soldier wave gung ho, inferno, & 2x iron grenadiers. used the 20% coupon on each one. also got the night stakler elite force copter for 16, again used the coupon.

 

overall great gijoe/military day!

I finally found them! Err I mean one. I went to the Wal*Mart in the town here I work and found a lone carded Cobra Commander figure. There was not another in sight. I even looked around to see if someone had hid any back. There was also no place for the 5 packs.

 

Now that I finally have got one of these things in my hands I can say that the legs don't really bother me. The arms however drive me insane. I dare say they are worse than a Star Wars figure from the 70s. At least thosedidn't fool you into thinking there would be some kind of articulation.

Found the 5 Packs and the Single Cards at KB in Osage Beach. I got all the figures but Flint (some had beat me to him and a Black Timber Snake Eyes) Left a Cobra Commander and Storm Shadow, and 2 or 3 (Can't remember) 5-Packs where still there.

Fred Meyer stores in our area have the 5 packs for $19.99 and the singles for $5.99 for the holiday weekend. I missed out at the one nearest me. I'll check a few more over the weekend.
