same boat here. I found them at the Target by work and a new target at the mall, but the two Targets on my way home and the Wally World down the street from me still haven't reset.

its true i havnt bought from the net cause i assumed of it being fraud but i found storm sahdow v2 at wal mart and i di not hesistate to buy lets pray tahat this is the first of many!!! YO JOE!!!!

I dont get it, my local walmart did their new mods, so the tags are out for the 25th stuff, even the 5 pack driver set whatever that is, the singles will be $4.88 and the 5 packs are $24.99, but again, I didnt bother waiting, I got mine from BBTS, HTS, and Mastercollector weeks ago. No sense in waiting, its only a couple extra bucks.

 

As far as target goes, perhaps the information given here was true for some places, but I can assure you, that no targets in my area are even close to having them.

 

But eh, whatcha gonna do ?

 

Also, the tone of this thread got pretty nasty there. With newbies calling out mods and stuff, nasty business it is. Also, creating names and replying to yourself , classic... I love it.

Target does have them.....most are still doing the RESETS....but they are in the backroom. Ask one of the Target lackys and they should look for you. If you need the Target code here it is....087-06-002-1......TRU item.. number....886790......walmart....65356926757.....not real sure on the Wallyword sku but the others Im pretty sure of....and I said PRETTY sure of before someone freaks out because Im one diget off.....

Finally found them in both a Target and Wal Mart near me. Not the ones closest to me, mind you..that would be too easy.

 

In fact one Wal Mart has done a complete re-set (even moved the Toy Department across the store) and they don't even have space in the Plan-0-Gram for Joes (Sigma Six or AT or 25th) I am worried about that one.

 

The Target DCPI listed above is correct for the single packs. I've been typing into the scanner at my Target for weeks.

 

The Target I found Joes at had NOTHING on Sunday (not even pegs) by Tuesday they were full. So the "Week of the 5th" seems to be dead on.

 

On a side note, Wal Mart had the best "Cards" with the least amount of warping.

I went to three Targets yesterday and they all had the singles and the Joe pack. No sign of the Cobra one yet. I did visit another Target last Friday and they had reset the toy aisle, but did not yet have the figures out.

I still haven't seen a single thing. I'm still in the middle as to if I want to collect these things though. I'm thinking I may concentrate on completing my 80s stuff and then go back andg et these years from now when hopefully people won't be able to give them away. I know that is how it is with Star wars.

I saw seen them here and there at Target's and usually the SE and SS are the ones left on the pegs. It could be that there are more than 1 of them in a case however.

Finally got the V2 storm shadow. Wow this is such a cool figure! First Joe figure I bought since I bought the original V2 SS back when it originally came out back in the old days. That's right, never had interest in buying a GI Joe anything till now thanks to this 25th Anniversary series.

 

Next on my list is the V2 Snake Eyes, Beach Head, Firefly, Zartan, and Buzzer.

I'm still on the hunt...my brother & I found a 5 pack of Cobra's & 2 5 packs of Joes about 3 weeks ago at TRU. I bought one of the Joes packs which is AWESOME, but passed on the Cobra pack due to lackluster paintjobs (faces). We found SnakeEyes (single) & Storm Shadow (single) at the same TRU a week later put passed on the SS again because of a sloppy paint job (face), when bringing SE to the register the girl said I have one more of those & handed my brother the Cobra Commander (single) from behind the register as if someone changed their mind at purchase, which made us both happy. HE later scored a Cobra pack at K-Mart this week & found me a sole Snake Eyes (single) at a new Walmart. We both had our Silver Exclsuive PD Destro's arrive from Hasbro toyshop this week. But I have to tell you, I went out looking again today & my local stores in CT/MA are bare...(as well as for any of you Transformers fans you can't find a single deluxe Movie TF anywhere) ...I know alot of stores haven't gotten these Joes yet but I am having such a hard time finding any 25th Joes anywhere! SO YEAH, all my stores are EMPTY right now... I am picky about paint apps I would rather find them in the store & hand choose them instead of online where I don't have control of that aspect. I just wish the stands where better, I don't like the raised logos. All in all it's been an adventure that I hope proves more fruitful soon ...as I LOVE These figures! @cool@

Anyway, those of you in or near the Nasville area, please don't get mad at me, but I found the single-carded figures at the Target store on Lebanon Pike Friday night while I was visiting. I grabbed Snake-Eyes, the Cobra Officer, Storm Shadow, and Flint. There were a few left on the pegs afterwards, so I didn't take everything. I even saw a Joe five-pack. It was just nice to finally walk into a store and see these at retail. It was a nice suprise. I just hope you local guys aren't mad at an out-of-towner swooping in and grabbing some Joes. (lol)
