This guy's auctions make me go WTF, but in a good way. Here's reversal from bad to good! (IMO):

These are pretty decent prices, I think (These are not mine, btw, I just wish I could afford them. I wish I had the money for all the '98 TRU stuff he's selling. I would buy all of his infantry packs for sure!)

I like how people will label anything as a "variant."

More like "the gold paint machine missed painting this Destro's neck piece" factory malfunction. @lol@

Hey all....don't post often but I saw this auction and I just had to put it out there. Look close, the plastic backing dosen't even match the 4'' scale of the 25th line. This guy is an idiot, I don't know what that makes the guy who buys it....

Apparently quite a few dumba$$es...there's 22 bids on that! Are there collectors out there that are really that stupid? I found the same Neo Viper at a thrift store the other day for a quarter. I should start saving the packages for my toys and stick a POTF2 Stormtrooper in a Cobra Viper card or something, sell it on eBay: "Ultra rare cross-license error card!"

Nothing really wrong about this one, but the card is what caught my attention:

Are all non-U.S. cards like this one?

Supposed to be yeah. Though we do get the U.S. cards (around here anyway) showing up in stores every now and then.

What makes the winner even stupider, is that they know what the Neo Viper Commander is .......

I know it isn't really a WTF auction so much as a WTF buyers response here....I live in Saint Joseph, Missouri and these series 1 Flints were hanging around everywhere early on and I bought a few (although even when I buy a Joe I intend to sell I usually think up an excuse for keeping it instead). Blows my mind that this figure is (at the time of this post) at $41!!! I've seen nice vintage carded figures go for less than that!!! What the hell is it with this figure? Yellow Stalker...I get it. Snake Eyes w/ Black Timer...get it. Basic series one Flint......?

Did they produce these in a limited number as compared to the rest of series one?

Not a joe auction, but I thought it was little strange that an Exo-Squad Robotech-reissue Invid Shock Trooper sold for $51 loose.

Right here.

I really hope that's not indicative of how much they're going for. I bought them when they first came out, but a few years ago, I had to make room and gave them to a neighbor's kid (not thinking they were worth much). Once I saw how well they worked with the 25th, I decided to get them again. Is that how much they usually go for?

Yeah, the EXO Squad/Robotech stuff can fetch some good dollars.

If you really don't want to sell it, just save your time and don't list it.

$800!?!?

HAHA! That guy must think really highly of his work...especially considering anyone could cobble that together pretty easily.

The best part is in his EXTREMELY hard to read description:

"NOW 25YRS LATER YOU CAN ASK ALMOST ANY FAN OUT THERE OF THE 80'S GI-JOE GENRE THE QUESTION OF FAVS (BESIDE THE HOT LADIES ON THE SHOW, AHHH DUDE, LOL)...WHO WAS THE THERE FAV. CHARACTER??, & FOR THE MOST PART YOU'LL HEAR 8 TO 9 TIMES OUTTA TEN (10) SNAKE EYES BABY. AS JUST ABOUT MOST FANS WILL ATTEST....SNAKE EYES WAS BY FAR & HANDS DOWN THE COOLEST & DEADLIEST DUDE ON THE WHOLE D*#N TEAM. GRANTED THE TERRORISY ORGANIZATION KNOWN AS COBRA HAD THERE SPECIAL COOL NINJA GUY/AGENT TOO OF COURSE, *STORM SHADOW* WHICH WAS GOOD SOMEWHERE, BUT EVEN HE HAD TO TAKE A BACK SEAT TO NUMERO UNO - SNAKE EYES."
