my local TRU hasnt gotten any new DCSH since the first wave, because they've got a score (or more) of Scarecrow that they cant get rid of, and my local target has maybe 15 of that same stupid series 4 superman!!! a couple of my buddies and i this morning were contemplating grabbing all of the POS Supes and chucking them in the trash so that stuff could come in again, lol

Leave it to the person who has always thought little of the line to say it's tanking. :P

To be fair I'm from the same city as the OP and I can say, at least around here, the line is tanking. Series 3 showed up and was gone within the span of a week or two, but wave 2 hasn't moved AT ALL. Still no sign of wave 4.

My interest in this line has waned. All of Series 1, then half of Series II, only Azrael from Series III and only Darkseid from IV (may get Luthor). If I couldn't pick them up for $7.99 @ Meijer I probably wouldn't even bother. But there are some serious shelf-warmers around here. I think people are going to have their fill of Supes & Bats figures soon, and then it will be in trouble. I don't think the line is in the tank..yet, but anyone that thinks this line is ever going to reach the level of ML is kidding themselves.

One of the TRU store by me finally got 2 cases of series 3 last week and they are all gone now. Even the local Wal-Marts & Targets that have had series 4 seem to be selling. Even the series 4 superman which I didn't think would move until Christmas when parents were trying to buy anything. But they do seem to be moving. The odd thing is I barely saw series 3 on the pegs here. I know of 4 stores out of the numorous TRU, Wal-Marts & Targets in the area that actually have had Series 3...but yet most of them have been putting out series 4. The figures I do still see sitting on the pegs are the single Bizarro from series 2 and the Superman/Bizarro 2-pack. I still don't understand why Target would put out the Superman/Bizarro 2-packs at $14 when they still had plenty of series 2 Superman & Bizarro figures on the pegs at $10 a pop. Then again I can't understand why the first shipment of 2-packs was nothing but Superman/Bizarro. Just poor planning on both Mattel & Target.

yeah i kinda sucks that i bought both single guys then bam a 2 pack comes that is 5 bucks cheaper. also where the f is the batgirl pack, freaking mattel up to their old tricks again.

i do have to say that i am really impressed with wave 4 except for supes. they are all highly detailed and beat their dcd counterparts. why did they include supes comics from wave 2?

The only reason this line seems to be tanking is cuz Mattel is limited by DC to just make Supes/Bats related characters. I guarantee that if there were some 4HM sculpted Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, Gl, Flash, Wonder woman, Gorilla Grodd, Black canary, Mr Miracle, Orion, Red Tornado, Black Adam, & Cap Marvel figures on the pegs, this line would be off the charts & competing directly with ML & blowing DCDirect figures out of the water!

Even though tey can't do guys like flash and green lantern, I still like what they're doing with superman/batman.

I think we're getting many more villains than we normally would this way. I mean if they had all of DC, we'd probably get one villain each wave, with 3 main heroes, and those heroes would probably have some base body to just repaint/retool into another hero.

So as it is, right now I'm not complaining. My Wal-Mart has sold waves 1-4 and they seem to be selling pretty well. They just got in wave 4 this week, and I picked up the only Darkseid and he rules! I left a lone braniac and luthor to get snatched up sometime soon I'm sure.

I wish I could find a luther. I picked up a batgirl/man 2 pack yesterday and a darkseid today. Im trading off the 2 pack for a series 5 colossus.

I still can't find the two new 2-packs here in Northern NJ/NY, but Lex was fairly easy to find. I've seen him at least 6 times now. Darkseid I only found the once...I just wish I could find the Batman /Batgirl set already. And I have to find 2 of it, because my daughter wants the Batgirl as well.

My local K-Mart seems to be the best place to find these. In fact, they finally got in wave 3 on Friday. By Saturday night, they were all gone except for about four Batman figures. Yep, even Robin sold out.

Mr. Freeze in an enormous improvement over the original release. The added articulation and new paint scheme are perfect. I think I kind of like him more than Azrael...

I think once wave 4 comes out with Steel, Mongul, battle damaged Supes, & modern Supergirl, DCSH figs will be flying off the pegs!

I think the line is doing great at least in my area. The wave that includes Lex and Darkseid is everywhere. It's almost unavoidable. As far as previous series, most of them moved out pretty well. Bane and Scarecrow still pegwarm occassionaly, as does Doomsday and Bizzaro but the figures are moving in and out just fine.

Man that figure looks great though! can't wait till he comes out! Oh man it sure would be fun to see what other charecters they could do even if we never actaully got them... I'd love to seewhat they could come up with :D
