Found a ML Series VII Vision @ Wal-Mart, Last Night.

I found a Marvel Legends: Series VII; Vision among a ton of Sentinel and Apocalypse Series figures, at Wal-Mart, last night. I'm sure it was a figure that someone bought when they first came out and returned it because they were in a bit of a financial bind, but that was weird. I was really hoping that there was a Series VII Apocalypse around, but the Vision was the only fig I could find.

What's the most out of its time figure you've found in a store?

Around the time of wave. . 9, I think, a Walmart up here had about 6 or so ML1 Iron Man figures. To be honest, I didn't think this was strange at all. It was, of course, before I really followed the waves or was into sites like this, so I had no idea he was rare or much-wanted. The same Walmart, around the same time, had a lot of the older figures - including Deadpool, Colossus, and the perfunctory 25 Things and Hulks which never seem to be in short supply. I think there were a few others, like Weapon X Wolverine, but it was awhile ago and I don't really remember.

Surprisingly, they were actually there over a couple of visits to the store (which only re-inforced my belief that they weren't particularly rare). I'm sure some Ebayer or collector more in tune with what's going on than I had a field day there.

Now my Walmart carries nothing but Wonderman figures for the last 2 months.

thats nothing! A couple of months back, I was in my local Wal Mart, and found a Venom from the VERY FIRST ML style line that started the whole thing! I couldnt believe my eyes! I guess when they re-modeled the store arround the same time, they found one shoved under a rack or something. All I could think of!

I just saw a Doctor Strange figure from the old Spider-Man the animated series line at Target. Weirdest thing. It was pretty cool to look on the back and see what they had coming out back then.

Now that's what I call a real find that was "out of its time." I had a similar finding about 2 months ago. I found a Generation X: Marrow figure from the mid '90s at Wal-Mart. I was quite surprised to see something that was at least a decade old.
