"Walmart stores crawl with action figure poachers who know genuine collectors are interested in the figure. Usually, they will buy them all and resell them with a huge margin at auction sites."

That's the problem with doing action figure reviews really. It takes me about 5 hours to write one article and when I receive my figures, I'm not always available to write on the spot. I've had these since early September, but I just couldn't review before.

 

The other problem with reviews, is that not everybody gets their shipment at the same time. People in many areas still can't find the Giant Man series, while people are already talking about the Mojo Series that I haven't even seen one in my area yet.

 

It really is depressing when people complain about me not being able to post a review earlier, especially when you've done so much background work. For every shot I took, there was about 5 others taken but not used. I've got the complete character's background and costume history right which was crossreferenced with several sources. I just don't come up with a few comments in a half hour and post them online. I try my best to provide good reviews but I'm not gonna play the me first game, as it's pointless.

 

Perhaps that's why so few people bother doing professional action figure reviews. @grumpy@

It wasn't a negative comment; it was a statement of fact. The Walmart Wave has come and gone; this is OLD NEWS.

 

I never said anything about the quality of his review. He may win a Pulitzer, who knows?

Keep ur reviews coming, late or not, I find them useful to know a bit more about the character, and gives me a second opinion about getting or not some figs.
