Pics of classics Mirage

I've seen it in person...it doesn't appeal as much as grimlock, but I passed on him too....

The only one that looks kind of good is optimus prime...but thats it..

Megatron, Rodimus, and Bumblebee are awesome! all three of them are well worth the money.

they are the best in years, they got me back to buying smoe and i haven't bought many tfs sense beastwars, and i stopped at transmetal 2 of those.

As for mirage himself, i was never a fan of the char, so i guess that's just why he doesn't appeal to me. He is nice, just not like having a long lost freind return like bumblebee.

It looks cheap... pass

WRONG!!!

I wasn't counting on Mirage to knock me over or anything but he has. If I had a figure like this when I was a kid then I'd never have put him down. He has all the ability to move in ways you could never imagine a deluxe TF moving and he can strike the best poses.

Yeah, he's got a couple of bad things, the wheel kibble mostly, but once you've played around for him a bit I found that you can quickly forget about that.

Grimlock on the other hand, now that I have him, was more fun to wait for than to actually have. All the upper body pieces don't lock down when they easily could have and he's a bit messy to play around with. The shoulders don't want to stay at the sides like they should, the head piece wants to swivel and the chest plate, which spins around to put his left arm on the left side doesn't stay put once because the shoulder doesn't lock in place.

Don't even get me going on the exposed screws on the shoulders.

He's not NEARLY as much fun as Mirage is to pose and as of now I'd have to put him near the bottom with Astrotrain. For all I went through to find him this is obviously NOT what I wanted.

Not... the reissues where the best one's :)

@hmmm@

Really..

This is one of the best TF lines Hasbro has released in ages (IMHO)..

Read the bolded part..

I did not say it was the best I said it was ONE of the best.

Is this Mirage figure sending an unhealthy message to our kids, encouraging them to be skinny through anorexia and/or bulimia? Anorexics and Bulimics, no matter how skinny they actually are, both have perceptual illusions of being fat.

No man, don't compare Transformers to BRATZ dolls! @smilepunch@

They've got all the bases covered there. Eating disorders, hoochie training they've got it all!

ummm.... that is the least of the worrying messages from Transformers. But really, toys are rarely going to make a child behave a certain way. It is TV and peers. Although I do not like the idea of my possible future daughters playing with toys like BRATZ, 'cause they are the most horrific example of pre-teen sluttiness, I don't think robots are going to influence lifestyles.

I guess I will have to open one up to see 4 myself what all the hype is about...

I just hope it's as good as the RID brothers...

I guess it is a matter of opinion but I was not a fan of them.. Most of RID = crap (again IMHO).

Scourge, JRX team and Ultra Magnus shine for me as some of the best in that line.

@hmmm@ looks around at the 200+ figures surrounding me at the moment @hmmm@

Transformers...Influence a lifestyle???

(Stops and thinks about the other 20+ totes full of figures in the attic)

T-shirts, DVD's, bumper stickers....I'm still not convinced.

You're right, Transformers could NEVER influence a lifestyle. :P
