What Transformers Characters do you Assign to the Star Wars Transformers?

Because Hasbro didn't designate any of the STAR WARS TRANSFORMERS as any particular character from the TRANSFORMERS Universe - plus, with the news from the SDCC that we will be getting a Darth Vader/Eta-2 Sith Starfighter & Clone Trooper/ARC-170 Starfighter (repaint) - which TRANSFORMERS characters do you assign to which STAR WARS TRANSFORMERS?

Anakin Skywalker/Eta-2 Jedi Starfighter = Optimus Prime

Obi-Wan Kenobi/Eta-2 Jedi Starfighter = Ultra Magnus

Darth Vader/Eta-2 Sith Starfighter = Scourge/Nemesis Prime/Black Convoy

Darth Vader/TIE-Advanced x1 Starfighter = Megatron

Emperor Palpatine/Imperial Shuttle = Galvatron

Darth Maul/Sith Infiltrator = Cyclonus

Jango Fett/Slave I = Soundwave

Boba Fett/Slave I = Shockwave

Luke Skywalker/X-Wing Starfighter = Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime

Han Solo/half of the Millenium Falcon = Wheeljack

Chewbacca/half of the Millenium Falcon = Grimlock

General Grievous/Tsmeu-6 personal Wheel Bike = Ravage

Clone Trooper/ARC-170 Starfighter = Starscream

Clone Trooper/ARC-170 Starfighter (repaint) = Skywarp

 

(I'm pretending that Megatron and Galvatron are two different individuals. I really like the idea of Darth Vader/TIE-Advanced x1 Starfighter as Megatron, but the only person that could rank over him is himself, from the future. Thus, Emperor Palpatine/Imperial Shuttle is Galvatron.

Darth Vader/Eta-2 Sith Starfighter as Scourge/Nemesis Prime/Black Convoy follows the RiD story. Darth Vader/TIE-Advanced x1 Starfighter/Megatron targets Optimus Prime, in his alt Eta-2 Jedi Starfighter mode, to scan as the alternate mode for a protoform. Then, Megatron infuses his spark energy to Optimuses scan and the protoform, giving birth to Scourge. Emerging from his pod, as a dark amalgamation of Optimus Prime and Megatron, Scourge attests that Megatron's programming had over-ridden any Autobot goodness within him.)

I agree with Wheeljack. This wasn't an attempt to meld the Star Wars universe with that of the Transformers universe. Instead it was the same idea that Hasbro had with the whole Mr. Potato Head/Star Wars fusion (Darth Tater, Spudtrooper, etc.), and was simply applied to two of its hottest-selling toy lines to get young boys to broaden their interests in both of them. Just wait...don't be at all surprised at a Sigma 6/Transformers line in the not-so-distant future.

 

Trying to figure out whether or not the SW Transformers fit into the Cybertronian timeline/universe is a moot undertaking because they simply don't. This is just a way of marketing two toy lines in one product.
