My Sigma Six Super Haul

So, today I went out to hunt for toys. One of the main things I was looking for was S6 Destro.

 

First WM, Strike one. Second WM, Arctic Duke taunts me on the pegs, strike two. Third WM. I see all but Dman hangin on the pegs. By this time I was tired and ready to get home. Then, I spotted two figures laying asside. Diggggity Destro Baby!

 

Now, here is the really good part . . .

 

I was getting some clearance DCSH Bizarro and Supes, so I just scanned Destro for fun. He rang up 50% off! In fact all the S6 8" did. I cleaned them out literally. Got the Vamp for 7.50, Arctic Duke, SE, High Tech, Regular Duke, Alternate gear Heavy Duty and some extras for trade.

 

After I got home my wife and I went out to eat together. She needed to go to WM to get some essentials. It was a different WM and there was the Firebat.

 

Destro was one that I was soo wanting. About four times I have seen the others without chrome dome. Now I got the whole wave for the price of two figs! Go WM Clearance!

Only one WM had them on clearance. They had a sign for the Vamp but not for anything else. That WM is notorius for crazy clearance prices.

damn, I saw a walmart that had their vam marked down, I just thougth it was cause the Target sale and they were matching it... wait.. I bought a Arctic Duke there, I'll have to see what he rang up... damn.. $14.97, lol

Sweet deal man... I probably would have only picked up Destro (I guess he's growing on me), but you gotta love it when that happens.

 

I hardly ever see stuff on clearance up here, even at Walmart, and when I do, it's usually crap! You guys down in the States have it made! Maybe it's time for another trip to Seattle...

I have Destro already and most of the new waves.

 

But there are a few repaints I wouldn't pay full price for but at half I would.

I found the Destro at Target a couple days before the sale. I thought about taking in the reciept and getting an adjustment, but when you think about it, it's really not much more than $1.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, I am going to check again today (since I am going by one of them) and if not, it is not too big a of deal since again it is only a dollar and some change.

i have yet to see ANY of these figures in my area of the country. My TRU is still trying to get rid of the Wave 1 figures that came with the DVD and hasn't really planned to order a great number of newer figures. We seem to be selling the 2.5" stuff far better than anything else that Sigma 6 has offered lately. Go figure...
