I, too, thought it looked like Waspinator, for whatever cracked-out reason, but after seeing it multiple times and looking closer, I finally saw the slightly-yellow eyes, right above what seem to be Waspy's bug eyes.

 

Since I saw that, I cannot see Waspinator anymore. Here's my Photoshop-enhancement, so you can see what I'm seeing:

 

 

 

If you look closely at the original pic, you can just make out the yellow tinge that the eyes have, which leads me to believe they're light-piped.

 

I'm still not real fond of the bot design, but it does look a lot better somehow, since I don't see Waspinator anymore when I look at it.

Starscream's Design has me crying why oh why? I just cant beleive its true. Maybe its meant to throw us off. The master piece looks a million times better even in those Diaclone colors. All I can say is that the Starscream we know and love is DEAD. they might as well get the JAr Jar binks voice to go with it.

and by that, i mean that it is OBVIOUS which of those is a MUCH better starscream design for a movie.

 

I see absolutely NO REASON why the masterpiece Starscream would not work in reality (which is Micheal Bay's excuse for what we ARE getting) and i would SO MUCH PREFER to see the masterpiece live than the ugly pile of dog crap we seem to be getting, even if it DIDN'T work well.

(i cannot tell anyone how strongly i really would prefer it)

If that Bay's SS in scale with BTs or Mps, I am going to get him and call him Masterpiece/alternators BB and make him mp SS's #$## like in Beast Wars 2nd.

I always knew those small things were movie SS's eyes...can't say I like it too much, still.
